On the other hand, it is more natural and plump. His body is derived from sketches. He often draws sketches by himself, and until now, he often helps students draw human sketches. Because now many works that show the human body are painted in the wilderness, or made of several big stones, which is unnatural. At most, it is more natural to have a twig next to it. This omits those superfluous things. Because what he created is not a real space, but an imaginary space, there is no need to paint the background so real. In short, one comes from sketching and is full of life. Another environment is consistent with the character, which is natural. These are his distinctive characteristics.
We should also note that the characters in Chen Zui's novels are not completely realistic. He has changed, which can be said to be a moderate exaggeration, but it is not completely exaggerated. In this way, I got rid of the simple sketching state. For example, the characters sketched in the studio are basically a gesture and an expression. Moderate exaggeration and deformation increase the painter's subjective interest, and the characters are more vivid, the image is more vivid and full of life. Furthermore, only a little exaggeration and deformation can fully show some of the characters' inner psychology, emotions and so on.
Another is that the shape is full. This has something to do with his good taste. The characters are full of personality and have a healthy vitality. This image is not only the expression of his personality, but also the symbol of his personality. So you look plump and natural, a bit like a southerner or even a Cantonese figure.
