What small towns have you been to that are completely unknown but unforgettable?

Ballina Town, New South Wales, Australia

This is my summer camp activity on 20 17. The town is less than two hours' drive from the Gold Coast, but the beautiful scenery is unforgettable. In this small town, I participated in cultural exchange activities, went deep into local schools to become transfer students, and went to school to play, eat and do experiments with local students. Of course, what impressed me most was the week-long homestay. We met a very good host family, with a young couple and a three-year-old daughter. Every day, they took me to all parts of the town to visit the beautiful scenery, and they also took me to their family gatherings and friends' dinners, which really made me feel the freedom, relaxation and life of Australian locals. It is hard for me to forget that it was a warm and beautiful study tour.
