Du Xiufu (19 12—2002) was born in Qixia, Shandong. Graduated from Huangpu Military Academy (19). After graduation, he worked as a secretary with Chiang Kai-shek for five years, and then studied at the National University College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the National Law School. After graduation, he worked in the military judicial department of the Kuomintang as a senior judge, and released several producers in private. Good at calligraphy and Chinese painting. In the 1940s, he held a personal painting and calligraphy exhibition in Chongqing, and held many painting and calligraphy exhibitions with his friends Zhang Daqian, Xu Beihong, Qi Baishi and Mei Lanfang. He used to be a representative of Qixia Municipal People's Congress.
