He has edited "Window Flowers", "New Art Movement and Others", etc. The book "Window Flowers" is the earliest monograph on the study of Chinese paper-cutting art. The papers include "In order to beautify people's lives", "Discussing arts and crafts", "Efforts to improve the level of arts and crafts creation" and "Issues in Chinese painting", etc. His main works include the landscape painting "On the Long March" and the cursive script "Premier Zhou's poem to Peng Xian" etc. The latter is displayed in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. He is currently the vice chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a director of the Chinese Artists Association, the art committee member of the Ministry of Culture, and the vice president of the Beijing Calligraphy Research Association. His works include printmaking "Printing Worker"; Chinese painting "On the Long March"; Chinese painting "On the Road from Tirana to Karca", which was selected for the 4th National Art Exhibition. Published include "Shuliang Calligraphy and Painting" and so on. He died of illness in Beijing in July 1991 at the age of 90. The Huangyan Municipal People's Government built the "Chen Shuliang Painting and Calligraphy Museum" in 1994 to commemorate this famous master of calligraphy and painting. The "Chen Shuliang Painting and Calligraphy Museum", located in Huangyan Jiufeng Park, covering an area of ??1,500 square meters and with a total investment of nearly 1 million yuan, was grandly opened on November 7, 1994. The name of the museum was inscribed by the famous traditional Chinese painting master Liu Haisu during his lifetime. Chen Shuliang's wife, Xiao Yuan, made a special trip from Beijing to attend the opening ceremony and donated all the good works left in Chen Shuliang's home, including 250 calligraphy and paintings, 94 seals, 61 books and letters from 20 famous people, as well as the original plan Songs and albums collaborated with Shu Liang during the Anti-Japanese War, etc. The opening inscription of the classic TV series "Journey to the West" started by the CCTV TV Drama Production Center in 1982 was inscribed by Mr. Chen Shuliang at the invitation.
