Aixinjueluo Baoxi’s talents and collections

Baoxi was well-known for his poetry and calligraphy in the Qing clan. He was also a collector and connoisseur of epigraphy, calligraphy and painting. Many excellent rubbings have his inscriptions or inscriptions. When Puyi was in the palace, he, Chen Baochen, Qi Ling, Yuan Lizhun and others were ordered to organize and concentrate ancient calligraphy and paintings. The "Treasure of Xuantong's Imperial View", "Jingjian Seal of Wuyizhai" and "Appreciation of Xuantong" on calligraphy and painting are the traces left by that period. He has been a lifelong collector of ancient books, many of which were published in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, such as "Qingshan Collection", which is the only one in China, "Epics of Jingjin Zhou Tanyong", "Changli Waiji", "Yangzi Dharma", etc. are all Song and Ming editions. There are also dozens of species. He had close contacts with Chen Baochen, Qi Ling and others, and worked with Chen Baochen, Qi Ling, Yuan Lizhun and others to sort out the ancient books, calligraphy and paintings collected in the palace. The books in his collection are printed with "Baoxi Longevity", "Ninth Grandson of King Yutong", "Shen Xiao's Lifetime Treasures", "Shen Xiao's Collection of Jing's Rare Books", etc. A bibliography of the family collection was once compiled, but it is no longer known. Proficient in calligraphy, his handwriting is extremely smooth and has a simple style. He is the author of "Talk about Art after Work".
