Yesterday, a family of eight classmates went to Shimen Mountain to play together. Many photos were posted on WeChat, which reminded me of my three experiences in Shimen Mountain.
The first time was when I was in the second grade, on the weekend of March in spring. As soon as some friends in our village discussed it, they rode to Shimen Mountain. Six people ride three bicycles and take turns cycling. It is 20 kilometers away from our village, and I don't feel tired. I sang and laughed all the way to the foot of the mountain. At that time, the mountain had not been developed by the city, no one sold tickets and no planned route. Several people were dumbfounded. They didn't know where to start climbing, so they had to leave by bike angrily. Everyone rode more than ten miles to another mountain to play and returned home before dark. This is the first time to climb a mountain.
The second trip to Shimen Mountain is the second year of work. In those two years, many young people were assigned to schools. On May 4th Youth Day, the headmaster specially organized a social activity with surrounding schools to take young teachers to visit Shimen Mountain. He wants to fix up a couple. There is no school bus, and the school has no travel expenses. Vehicles bring their own motorcycles, and personnel are free to combine. At that time, I didn't own a car. I bought a motorcycle, and the surcharge was about 10 thousand yuan. At that time, my salary was only over 500, which was a luxury car. Two or three people drive a car. Now I know this is dangerous driving, but I'm glad I didn't have those safety awareness at that time. A male teacher in a foreign school rides a bike, and a female teacher in another school rides a little Mulan motorcycle. They are a good match. Halfway through the ride, the motorcycle broke down and they didn't succeed in the end. We, a group of young people in their early twenties, arrived at our destination at lightning speed. It took us less than two hours to go up and down the mountain, and we were not tired at all. Back at school, the headmaster set two tables in the hotel, which was very good for us. It was nice to feel young at that time.
The third time I went to Shimen Mountain was my family of three. In the summer when my daughter was six years old, I was going to road trip. Great changes have taken place in this scenic spot. A large parking lot has been built at the foot of the mountain, and hotels around it are one after another, so there are more people traveling. Follow the route up the mountain to the sightseeing pavilion at the commanding heights, and return down the mountain along the original road. We saw that some tourists chose another downhill road, and they followed closely and wanted to enjoy different scenery. I didn't expect to get farther and farther away from the mountain gate, and finally I reached the foot of the mountain, two miles away from the parking lot. Fortunately, I asked the local people for directions and didn't get lost. A happy family has become a memory.
