Zhao Guolian's introduction

Zhao Guolian is from Dashiqiao, Liaoning. Born in 1950, graduated from Dalian Army Academy of China People's Liberation Army and Chinese Department of Liaoning University. National first-class painters and calligraphers enjoy the allowance of the State Council Municipal Government. He has served as the first director of China Calligraphy Association, deputy secretary-general of Liaoning Branch of China Calligraphers Association, director of World Artists Association, senior researcher of China International Industrial Organization Research Association, researcher of China National Studies Association, honorary president of China National Studies Association, honorary chairman of China Painting and Calligraphy Artists Association, honorary chairman of China Artists Association, executive dean of Painting and Calligraphy Institute of National Defense University, vice president of Bayi Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and chairman of China General Celebrity Calligraphers Association. He studied under Mr. Shen, Mr. Yang, Guo Moruo, Zhao Puchu, Shu Tong, etc. He is good at cursive writing and poetry creation, especially at writing couplets.
