Deng Yingchao's birthplace, her relatives paid a special visit, and Minquan Road in Nanning has an unusual history.

Many people think that Deng Yingchao, the beloved elder sister, is from Tianjin. After all, she studied in Tianjin for many years, participated in the revolution in Tianjin in her youth, and worked hard for the people of China with Zhou Enlai all her life, becoming a great proletarian revolutionary. In fact, her ancestral home is Henan, and she was born in Nanning, Guangxi at the southern tip of Chinese mainland, which many people don't know. Minquan Road in Nanning is located in the center of the city. The original compound of Nanning CPPCC (later No.37, now Deng Yingchao Memorial Stone Carving Garden) was Nanning Wei (Ministry of War) in the Ming Dynasty, Zuojiang Town Taiwan Affairs Office and Zuojiang Road Patrol Service Office in the Qing Dynasty. Deng Yingchao's father, Deng Tingzhong, used to work in Zhentai, Nanning, and his mother, Yang Zhende, gave birth to an only daughter, Deng Yingchao, in Zhentai's official residence on February 4, 194, with a baby name of "Yu 'ai". Jade Love spent an unforgettable childhood in Nanning. At the age of 6, Deng Yingchao left Nanning with her mother and went to Tianjin. In March 1961, a Chinese and Japanese women's delegation led by Comrade Deng Yingchao was invited to attend the Third National Women's Congress in Vietnam and then returned to Nanning, where she was born. Sister Deng said, "I am the daughter of Nanning who grew up drinking Yongjiang water to the core. "Now, Deng Yingchao's birthplace has a" "Deng Yingchao Memorial Stone Carving", which was inscribed by Zhou Enlai's nephew General Zhou Erjun; Opposite the birthplace, there is the Deng Yingchao Memorial Hall, which shows the history of Deng Yingchao's devoted life. It is said that because there is only one Deng Yingchao Memorial Hall in Nanning, the former Deng Yingchao office attached great importance to it and provided all the precious items of Deng Yingchao to the Memorial Hall. Zhou Erjun and Zhou Bingde, relatives of Sister Deng, made a special trip to pay their respects. Minquan Road, the birthplace of Deng Yingchao, is an unusual old road. In the past, it started from the north bridge head of Yongjiang Bridge in the west and crossed Xingning Road, Zhongshan Road and * * * and Road in the east, with a total length of more than 6 meters. During the period of Song Jiayou (156-163), when he was building the ancient city of Nanning (Song Cheng), he chose the middle position of Wuhualing (now the former Red Star Studio next to Deng Yingchao Memorial Hall) as the government office of the state of Tan, which is a treasure trove of geomantic omen with high terrain and close to the river. As a result, for more than 9 years, Minquan Road near the government office in Tanzhou has been crowded with many senior administrative agencies. No.14 Minquan Road has been the official government since the Ming Dynasty. In the Republic of China, the capital of Guangxi moved from Guilin to Nanning, where it was successively the office of the governor of Guangxi and the * * * of Guangxi Province. After 1934, it was Yongning County. After liberation, it was successively the Nanning Garrison, the provincial and municipal CPPCC organs and the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee. At present, the Qicha intersection between Minquan Road and Zhongshan Road used to be the Nanning government office built by Ming Hongwu in three years. At the end of Ming Dynasty, Wang Gui came to Yong twice in yongli, and used this place as the palace. The Nanning government office continued until the Qing Dynasty. It is said that there used to be a waterway under the lobby of the government office, which led to the outside of Zhenjiang Gate (now at the north end of Yongjiang Bridge). In case of war, the city was closed and stuck to it. Soldiers and people in the city could use this waterway to draw water from the Yongjiang River outside the city. Because there is a gate inside the city gate, it is also called "water gate". People call the area in front of Nanning government office "the door of the government". In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), the government transformed the government office into the trial and inspection office of the Guangxi High Court. After liberation, Nanning people * * * was located here, and a city hall was built in the east front of the compound. In 1959, the city moved to No.42 Minsheng Road. In 1965, due to the extension of Chaoyang Road to the south, most of the city's * * * compound was demolished, leaving only the three-story main building and some ancillary buildings. Later, the city's heavy industry bureau, materials bureau, education bureau and other units used to work in this building. At present, the three-story building remains the same and serves as the "Nanning Institutional Museum". At present, the place near the road green belt in front of the International Trade Building on Minzu Avenue used to be the junction of Hehe Road and Minquan Road. It was originally the Biaozhong Temple and Zuoying Garrison in the Qing Dynasty, and was converted into a two-story masonry building in the sixth year of the Republic of China (1917) as the Guangxi Education Association. In 193s, it successively served as Guangxi Museum and Nanning garrison headquarters. Nanning police station moved here in 194. After liberation, it was the Nanning Intermediate People's Court. In the past, the southern end of Qingyun Street was near Minquan Road, and there were official institutions such as the Provincial Senate, the Guangxi Provincial Party Department (now the Agricultural Bank of China and the Bank of China in Yuehui Square, the former Nanning Survey Team), and the Guangxi Provincial Education Department (formerly the Municipal Public Security Bureau). Minquan Road is also a treasure house for business. Before the Yongjiang Bridge was completed, from the riverside to * * * and Road, arcade shops stood on both sides, all kinds of foreign decorations were very beautiful, and there were many pawn shops and gold and silver jewelry shops on the street. The junction of Minquan Road, Xingning Road and Zhongshan Road is second only to Minsheng Road and Xingning Road in its prosperity. There are many restaurants and restaurants in this area, and the business is booming. It is said that this is an old tradition for many years. From 1936 to 1944, this place was a lively night market. Because it was located in front of the old gate, people called it "the night market in front of the house". There is a "* * *" Ma Lianfu noodle shop, which is famous for its horse meat rice noodles. Ganlong noodle shop, which deals in the famous snack "Fried Shrimp Cake Cold Powder"; Dalai dumpling shop, which distributes bone bean sprouts soup; Longji dessert shop, ancestral iced egg liqueur is very famous; Fat Lao porridge noodle shop's Guangzhou Flower Market boat porridge, beating Wonton Noodles, and Zengjiacun store, which sells cauldron dumplings, and Shenghe Restaurant and Liuwang Restaurant, which specialize in selling Guilin pot roast and miscellaneous hot rice noodles, are the best choices for citizens to "eat midnight snacks" and are well-known. The current Zhongshan Road Food Street may be the inheritance of the "Fumenkou Night Market". There are also two unique places on Minquan Road. One is Yuzhangli (now around the Stone Carving Garden) on the north side of the west end of the street, which is the settlement of wealthy businessmen from Jiangxi. The alleys are built in pieces in the Qing Dynasty, with deep houses, dry walls, glazed tiles, cornices and arches, carved beams and painted buildings, and the momentum is extraordinary. Among them, there is a big house where more than 3 families live. People call it a "big yard" and it is famous far and near. The other is the "Cotton Village" on the south side of the east end of the street (now around the global era and Liyuan skyline), which is said to be a cotton distribution center in ancient times. In the past, there was a pond here, and the scenery along the pond was very beautiful, so it was given the good name of "Huazhou", which was one of the eight scenic spots in Nanning in the Song Dynasty-"Huazhou jathyapple". Mianhua Village is basically a residential area with alleys leading to minzu road. The current Minquan Road starts from the north bridge head of Yongjiang Bridge in the west and ends at the Qicha Road in the east, which is only a few tens of meters. Because in the 196s, with the completion of Yongjiang Bridge and the construction of the approach road, the south side of Minquan Road, namely Yongjiang Hotel, was demolished from the bridgehead to * * * and Road; In 1965, Chaoyang Road was extended to the south, and the section facing Zhongshan Road on the north side was removed. In 1978, the National Avenue was built, and the whole section of Minquan Road from Hehe Road to South Ring Road disappeared. In 23, the Yongjiang Qiaotou Interchange was rebuilt and the Minzu Avenue was straightened. The remaining section on the north side of Minquan Road, that is, the section from Xingning Road to Qiaotou, was demolished together with the "21st Century Building" in Yuzhang, leaving only the bridgehead. Most of the former civil rights road has disappeared in the western section of the modern national avenue. However, because of the "Deng Yingchao Memorial Stone Carving", people remember the ancient road where great men were born, and its thick history has a long history and will remain in the hearts of Nanning people forever.
