What happened in Jingxi? It's cold and the red leaves are thin.

The stream of the river has been flowing for less than a day, and white stones are exposed on the riverbed. The weather is getting colder and the red leaves on the branches are becoming scarce.

This poem comes from In the Mountains written by Wang Wei in the Tang Dynasty. It explained: Jingxi gurgled through the white stone with phosphorus dew, and the weather became cold and the red leaves were sparse.

Original: White stone in the west of Beijing, cold weather and thin red leaves. There is no rain on the winding mountain road, the smoke is misty in the dense pine trees, and the water vapor is heavy, as if to flow, and then the clothes of passers-by. It didn't rain on the mountain road, but the green mountain color was so thick that it seemed to wet people's clothes.

1, Jingxi: Changshui, also known as Lianshui and Jinggu Water, originated in the Qinling Mountains in the southwest of Lantian County, Shaanxi Province, and flowed northward to the northeast of Chang 'an to enter Lianshui.
