The Classic of China's Inscriptions: A Collection of Wang Xizhi's Book Diamond Sutra

Wang Xizhi's running script is peaceful, simple and elegant, and deeply loved by Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong. In the early years of Zhenguan, Wang Xizhi's original works were widely collected, and then all the emperors in the Tang Dynasty were also good at Wang Zi, so the wind of collecting words and carving stones was very popular. The famous ones were "The Preface to the Three Stories of Wang Youjun Collected by Tang Chengheng in three years" and "Tang Xingfu Temple" in the ninth year of Kaiyuan.

The Diamond Sutra is an important Buddhist classic. There are similarities and differences between the six translations. In 18271, the first year of Daiwa, Yang edited and edited it, and named it The New Collection of King Kong Prajna Paramita Sutra, and he wrote his own preface. In the fourth year of Daiwa, he was promoted, and Li Ang, a literate scholar, ordered the collection of Wang Xizhi's book, which was engraved on the stone until the spring of Daiwa. The King-shaped stone inscriptions in the Diamond Sutra can be found in Ouyang Yi's Collection of Ancient Records, Zhao Mingcheng's Records of the Stone, Chen Si's Collection of Treasures, Qian Qianyi's Collection of Learning and Ye Changchi's Yu Shi, but they all think that this sutra is a collection of words in Tang Xuandu, but Ye Yibao's Supplement to the Records of the Stone in the early Qing Dynasty thinks that it is a collection of words in Tang Xuanxu. Tang Xuandu, the word Yansheng, was a literate scholar. He was an official in Hanlin, waiting for a letter to Chao Yi Lang and Chuzhou Si Bing to join the army. He wrote The Nine Classics. His younger brother Tang Xuanxu's date of birth and death is unknown, and there is no record in Tang Shi. According to legend, he was once the post of Cao Weicang, the former right guard of Chao Lang, and he was only a small official. Xuandu is also good at calligraphy. Ouyang Xiu's Collection of Ancient Records says: Xuandu is famous for its calligraphy, and its brushwork is weak, which is not the same as that of its predecessors. However, Huang Bosi's Lun Yu on the East also commented on Japan: Xuandu's ten-body flying white calligraphy is similar to that of a scattered official, but it is full of elegant brushwork. It's a pity that his book trace has not been passed down today, and this sutra was carved by Shao Jian, who is a master of tablet carving. Liu Gongquan's Mysterious Tower and Pei Xiu's Monument to the Zen Master at Guifeng Dinghui all came from his own hands.
