Born in 1970 in Chun'an, Zhejiang. Graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of China Academy of Art in 1996, majoring in Figures. From 2001 to 2002, he participated in the advanced training class of the Calligraphy Department of the China Academy of Art. From December 1997 to September 2004, he taught in the Fine Arts Department of Zhejiang Art Vocational College. He later became a lecturer at the Visual Arts Branch of the China Academy of Art, and is now a teacher in the Art Education Department of the Public Art College of the China Academy of Art. He is also a member of the Zhejiang Artists Association, a member of the Zhejiang Figure Painting Research Association, and a distinguished painter of the Xiling Painting and Calligraphy Academy.

In 1996, "Lhasa·Lhasa" won the second prize of the "Meiyuan Cup" National Fine Arts Academy Graduates' Works Exhibition.

Two pieces of "Gyantse Sketching" were selected into the National Art College Student Sketch Exhibition and won the "Wu Zuoren International Art Foundation" Excellence Award.

In 1999, he participated in the "Multi-Directional Selection" 11-person joint exhibition of Chinese figure paintings in Beijing.

"Gesar" was selected for the 50th anniversary art exhibition of the founding of Zhejiang Province.
