Yutaisi architecture

It is said that there is an ancient clock hidden in the old Yutai Temple, and there is a scenic spot called "Yutai Morning Bell". The bell in front of the temple is louder than the three realms: sentimental and sick people will feel comfortable when they hear this bell, which will relieve their troubles and solve their diseases; Foolish and lazy writers smell this bell, their hearts are uplifted and they strive for progress; Those with bad conduct hear the death knell, feel guilty and return to the right path. Today, there is a giant bronze bell hanging on the bell tower on the east side of Yutai Temple, which was donated by Mr. Huang Zutang, a villager from Xinhui who visited Hong Kong in 1992, to commemorate the 8/kloc-0 birthday of his beloved wife Chen Shuying. (At that time, Yutai Temple only rebuilt a part of the halls, and Mr. Huang Zutang donated huge sums of money to help rebuild the Heavenly King Hall, the Bell Tower, the Drum Tower, the promenade along the mountain and the release pond. , and completed all the temple projects. The clock is 3.2 meters high, weighs 3.5 tons and has a diameter of 2 meters. It is engraved with poems and prayers written by famous monks and scholars in past dynasties, and donated money to rebuild the reputation of Yutai Temple. This clock is one of the largest Buddha clocks in China at present. When it rings this bell, its sound is crisp and loud, and it can be broadcast for more than ten miles in Huicheng and Jiangmen.

"Yutai Morning Bell" mainly prays for the whole world, hands folded, peace and prosperity. In the Year of the Horse (2002), at 0: 00 on the first day of the first month, Yutai Temple held a bell ringing ceremony, and the bell was 108, which was personally rung by a kind person who donated merit. Whenever the bell rings, the chief mage of the temple leads two monks to recite scriptures and pray. After the Year of the Horse, a bell ringing ceremony is held at the same time every year. There is a cemetery under the lecture pavilion in Baisha, next to Yutai Temple. There are three tombs lined up, which are called the "Tomb of the Three Kings". It was built by Li Danyu, a famous person in Xinhui, in the 9th year of the Republic of China (1920). There are two stone tablets beside it, engraved with the epitaph of Wulin No.2 Cemetery and Guan Zhaoyuan written by Li Danyu. There is also an octagonal platform next to it, engraved with couplets: "Two generations of teachers and students have occupied a seat in the famous mountain, and the city occasionally comes to catch up with the past for the Double Ninth Festival." This couplet is named "Two Generations of Teachers and Students"-the "Three Kings Tomb" where a generation of famous teachers and their disciples were buried together. "Three Kings" refers to Wu Tiemei, Lin Zhongjuan and Guan Zhaoyuan. The tomb in the middle is Wu Tiemei's tomb. Wu Tiemei (1827- 1890), whose real name is Rong Tai, is from Gu Jingwen Building in Xinhui. He is a famous historical figure in Xinhui. In the third year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1864), Juren went to Beijing for eight times and failed to take the exam, so he returned to his hometown to become a disciple. He is rigorous in his studies and good at educating people. He came to many scholars and educated more than 1000 people in his life. In the late Qing Dynasty, many celebrities appeared in Xinhui, such as Tan Bi, Li Danyu and Lin Zhongyu.

On the left of Tiemei's tomb is the jade tomb in the forest. Lin Zhongyu, whose real name is Wen Cong and whose real name is Zhong Xiang (Zhong Jian and Zhong Jian), is a scholar who studies deception. He is good at calligraphy and epigraphy. He used to be the headmaster of Zhou Gang Middle School. He and Li Danyu were both proud disciples of Wu Tiemei and his second son-in-law. Wu Tiemei died at the age of 55.

On the right of Tiemei's tomb is Guan Zhaoyuan's tomb. Guan Zhaoyuan is a student of Lin Zhongyu and Li Danyu. He is smart and diligent, highly valued by his teachers, and has deep feelings for them. Later, he "went to Hong Kong to study English, was appreciated by Feng Junxi and his brother Hirayama Jun, and was awarded an important position in the banking industry." (Epitaph of Guan Zhaoyuan) Later, he died of overwork in Hong Kong at the age of 27.

Wu Tiemei and Lin are teachers and students, and Lin and Guan Zhaoyuan are teachers and students, so there is a saying that "two generations of teachers and students have a seat in the famous mountain". Originally, the three tombs of the "Three Kings" were not in one place, so Li Danyu moved the three tombs here and let them gather under the lecture pavilion of Baisha forever, which not only comforted their wish of yearning for Mr. Baisha before their death, but also made "future generations climb the mountain to pay their respects and look back on their teachers and friends, leaving a lasting impression" (Records of the Second Cemetery of Wulin).
