2. First understand and master the corresponding rules between the radicals of seal characters and the radicals of today's Chinese characters.

3. Identify similarities. That is, characters with similar seal characters (such as the components "Zhi" and "攵") or similar real characters (such as "Wei" and "Zhu") are put together for comparison and identification.

4. Collect special seal characters, such as father, tooth, flower, bird, crow, bi, geng, kang, yan, jing, xue, tou, etc. that cannot be identified by the radical correspondence rules. together to facilitate memorization.

5. Note that the same component may have different sealing methods in different parts of a character. For example, if the part "gu" is the left radical of a character (such as "desire") and the right radical of a character (such as "bath"), the seal writing methods are different. As for the component "Li" used as the left radical of a character (such as "SA") and as the upper part of a character (such as "Tong"), the seal writing methods are almost completely different.

Another example is the component "阝", which is derived from two completely different seal characters "霜" and "邑", two to one. In the seal characters, if you see that one of its parts is the seal character of "Fu", then it corresponds to today's left ear "阝"; if you see that one of its parts is the seal character of "邑", then it corresponds to Today's right ear is "swelling".
