Touch Dunhuang

? Dunhuang, located at the western end of Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, China Province, is an important town of the ancient Silk Road and has always been a "throat place" for communication between China and the West. Dunhuang's important geographical position makes it occupy an important position in the historical process of the interaction between Eurasian civilizations and the integration of ethnic minorities and ethnic cultures in the Central Plains. Soon after the rise of Buddhism, it was introduced to China along the Silk Road. From the 4th century to14th century, ancient artists built a series of grottoes here, including Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, West Thousand-Buddha Cave, Five-Temple Grottoes in Northern Jiangsu, Yulin Grottoes in Guazhou and East Thousand-Buddha Cave, which were collectively called Dunhuang Grottoes, among which Mogao Grottoes, a world cultural heritage, was the most typical.

? As an art teacher, Dunhuang should be a holy place for all art lovers. During my college years, I regret that I can't go to Dunhuang to study, but I already know a little about Dunhuang grottoes murals in professional classes (through teachers' explanations, college exhibitions, books, internet, etc.). Yesterday, I came to Dunhuang Holy Land with my colleagues with admiration and expectation for Dunhuang culture.

? We and others took a bus from Jinta to Dunhuang at half past six in the morning, and the time was two in the afternoon. After dinner, we marched to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring together, and entered Mingsha Mountain, the endless desert Gobi, which looked like an oil painting. When you touch the yellow sand with your hand, you will find that it is not yellow sand, but fine colored sand with five colors (yellow), and its fineness can expand your mobile phone. Listening to the local staff and tour guides repeatedly emphasizing the caution of mobile phones and cameras, we can see how fine the desert particles in Mingsha Mountain are. Stepping into the desert, the sand-like comfort is transmitted from your feet to your whole body. I wanted to climb up and experience the richness of the vast Gobi Desert, but the climate is dry and my physical strength is limited. Finally, we decided to go to Mingsha Mountain by camel and experience the hardships and happiness of the Silk Road.

It is also the first time to ride a camel. Curious, I asked the staff about the life span of camels (about 30 years). At first, camels lived in the desert, rode camels into the desert, and experienced the hardships and joys of ancient people opening up the Silk Road. There is an artistic conception that "the world of mortals is raining, and Ma Benteng enjoys the prosperity of the world". This experience is unforgettable. Next to Mingsha Mountain, we arrived at Crescent Spring, which is a clear spring around Mingsha Mountain. It is 242 meters long from east to west and looks like Xuan Yue, hence the name "Crescent Spring", which has become a wonder because of "the spring reflects the moon without dust" and "the ancient sand does not fill the spring, and the spring does not dry up". Crescent Spring is one of the outstanding natural landscapes in Dunhuang. It is famous for its "desert wonders" throughout the ages and is known as "one of the best scenery beyond the Great Wall". The first spring in the desert.

At nine o'clock in the evening, we watched the indoor scene experience drama "Look at Dunhuang again" directed by Wang Chaoge.

? There was a long queue and finally entered the meeting place. Wow, my vision and feeling were subverted at the scene. This play is so shocking, with a unique opening and a true story. It is understood that director Wang Chaoge completely restored the Dunhuang story, even the costumes, with a different opening and a different scene experience. In the previous hour, we walked in the play as if through. In the play, I feel Dunhuang more than 1000 years ago with the Taoist king and the immortals in the murals. Chang Shuhong also appeared in the play. He is not only the dean of Dunhuang Research Institute, but also a statue of him in front of our Academy of Fine Arts when I was in college. He used to be the dean of the Academy of Fine Arts of Northwest Normal University. Today, in the plot, he appeared.

? Seeing Dunhuang again benefited my spleen a lot and made me really understand 1600 years ago, Monk Lezun saw the Buddha's light in Sanwei Mountain and dug the first grotto in Mogao Grottoes. For thousands of years, many skilled craftsmen and artists have traveled all the way to the Mogao Grottoes, creating the glory of the Mogao Grottoes with the painstaking efforts of thousands of people in Qian Qian. Now there is another performance, and then look at Dunhuang, which is about the history and culture of Dunhuang. Speaking of the culture of the Mogao Grottoes, I don't know what the beliefs that support their lives in this process are. So many cultural relics and fine works of art come from different countries and nationalities, different religious beliefs and different artistic techniques. What caused them to gather in Dunhuang from all directions? There are so many unexplained things in this world that we can't find or answer them. We are just a group of passers-by in Dunhuang. We came and left, leaving a few exclamations, taking some small souvenirs and heading for the next destination. The Mogao Grottoes will always belong to Dunhuang. Look at Dunhuang and it belongs to Dunhuang.

Look at Dunhuang again is divided into five sitcoms, which are about the characters in the murals of Mogao Grottoes, their life stories and the thousand-year history of Dunhuang. Due to long-term unprofessional protection and excessive excavation, murals were oxidized and blackened. See Dunhuang again. After restoring this fact, I appeal to everyone to protect the Mogao Grottoes and our cultural heritage.

? The next morning, we visited the Dunhuang Cultural Fair, experienced its grand occasion and visited the VIP room where the state leaders met. Every corner is full of Dunhuang cultural heritage.

With admiration and expectation, at 1 1, we walked into the digital studio of the Mogao Grottoes to learn more about the Mogao Grottoes.

? With this admiration and mystery, we finally came to the Mogao Grottoes, which is located at the waist of an unremarkable khaki mountain range. Sparse Woods cover the cave, and a dry river bed stands at the foot, which is extremely desolate, bleak and mysterious. The Mogao Grottoes, also known as the Thousand Buddha Caves, have not a thousand buddhas, but thousands of Buddha caves.

Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes are located in the depths of Gobi, in an oasis surrounded by Mingsha Mountain and Sanwei Mountain. The Mogao Grottoes, commonly known as the Thousand Buddha Cave, was built two years before the Qin Dynasty (AD 366). From the Sixteen Kingdoms period to the Yuan Dynasty, after thousands of years of continuous cave-making, a huge cave group was formed in the14th century. Up to now, Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes have preserved 735 caves, 45,000 square meters of murals, more than 2,000 colored sculptures and five wooden eaves buildings in the Tang and Song Dynasties on a cliff 1700 meters long. In addition, more than 50,000 documents and various cultural relics, including thousands of silk paintings, prints, embroidery and a large number of calligraphy works, have been found in the Tibetan Sutra Cave. Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes is one of the largest, oldest and relatively well-preserved Buddhist historical sites in China. It represents the highest achievement of Buddhist culture and art in China in the 4th ~/kloc-0th/4th century. It is the crystallization of China's ancient multi-ethnic culture and Eurasian culture on the Silk Road, and is known as "the treasure house of oriental art", "the longest gallery in the world" and "the museum on the wall".

? Although Dunhuang has an eternal wonder like the crescent moon spring in Mingsha Mountain besides the Mogao Grottoes, it is undoubtedly Dunhuang because of the Mogao Grottoes. There is too much cultural accumulation here; There are too many historical scrolls in the collection; It also embodies too much essence of human thought and art. Approaching the Mogao Grottoes is like walking into the corridor of time and space of human civilization, so that you can't extricate yourself from the entanglement of greatness and smallness of human nature. According to legend, the Mogao Grottoes were built in the pre-Qin period, known as 1,000 grottoes, but actually there are about 500 grottoes. We handed in the camera in front of the door (cameras are not allowed to be brought into the Mogao grottoes), and then we walked into the dark caves and stepped into the long river of history.

In order to protect the paintings and statues in the caves, all caves in Mogao Grottoes are not equipped with lights, and each cave is equipped with advanced electronic monitoring equipment to ensure the protection of cultural relics. Besides, every cave is locked. The instructor holds a big key in his hand, opens the cave, takes the tourists in, and locks it immediately after coming out, even if a group of people behind him will come in for a visit soon.

?

? The commentator also has a necessary thing, that is, a flashlight, which is used for lighting during the visit. In the dark cave, people followed the narrator one foot deep and one foot shallow, and the guide turned on the flashlight, lit up the exquisite murals and began their already familiar explanation. They are definitely indifferent to this. There are not too many emotions and cadences in the explanation, and they don't agree with people's exclamations, but the visitors have experienced some inner excitement and the impact of thinking. The small flashlight illuminates the greatness of our predecessors and reflects our smallness.

Visiting one cave after another, all caves have no names, only numerical symbols: "330 caves, 350 caves, 220 caves". They are like milestones in the long river of history, recording the course of people moving towards civilization and creating civilization. It also records the styles of past dynasties. The Tang Dynasty was undoubtedly the most outstanding. Of all the caves, only the Tang Dynasty has the richest content and the highest technology. In the Qing Dynasty, it obviously declined. Murals and statues were all lacking in charm and dry. As the tour guide said, all the characters had the same facial features as Empress Dowager Cixi.

? Dunhuang was produced by Mogao Grottoes, and Mogao Grottoes were produced by Tibetan scriptures caves. It was here that the invaluable Taoist Wang opened the door to Dunhuang, and more than 10,000 priceless cultural relics in the Mogao Grottoes were also taken away by foreigners. The secret door discovered by Taoist Wang is still open, and there is nothing in it. It is hard to believe that there are such rich cultural minerals in this humble cave. It is difficult to judge whether this humble cave is the glory or shame of a nation.

? Today, I met my own students. When I was in college, I opened an art examination class and brought several art college entrance examination students. Just as we were about to enter the cave, a teacher behind me was full of pride and happiness.

His name is Herman Lee, and he is an art college entrance examination student of 14. 15 efforts, admitted to Dunhuang Art College of Northwest Normal University. This is the second batch of art candidates I took. Four years ago, I was his teacher, and four years later, he was our teacher. During three years, he studied murals in Dunhuang Grottoes, and he is already a knowledgeable junior (internship in Dunhuang Grottoes in his junior year).

? The trip to Dunhuang was fruitful, and the caves brought shock and impact to people in silence. Enter every cave and savor the charm of every Buddha statue and sculpture, as if it were not cold rocks, but living history. Let me marvel at this ingenious work, as if I were in a beautiful world, on the Silk Road of "flying" and "playing pipa". The scale of the Mogao Grottoes does not seem to be very large, but it takes not only a lot of time but also a little energy to taste it bit by bit. When I first arrived here, although it was a kind of "taste", I was really impressed by Yungang's grand momentum, exquisite carving and gorgeous painting. Unfortunately, a considerable part of it has been weathered and destroyed. 1600 years of wind and frost, caves can't last forever, but it is these that make up the Mogao grottoes full of Cang Sang and a sense of accomplishment. Standing in a deep cave, I thought hard: what is history? When I was a child, I thought it was a text picture, but later I thought it was a lesson. Now I know, neither, nor. Everything precipitated like the Mogao Grottoes is history. The Buddha statue in the cave stands tall and well-informed, but it always keeps the silence of the past. Like dust, it dilutes its own existence and shows indelible glory in the long history.
