Anyone who specializes in something can be king.

After reading Liang Heng's essay Everyone Can Be King, I realized the profoundness of China's ancient poems. At the same time, I know my ignorance and shallowness. I have been asking myself, what about the person who has studied for more than ten years and received the so-called higher education? Such beautiful and far-reaching words have little or no knowledge. It suddenly dawned on me that I didn't study hard at all, I was just taking an exam. This is really stupid and sad not to read, but unfortunately read only!

You are a born fool at the beginning of your life, and reading can make you wise. Reading classics and ancient poems to understand the artistic conception can only be understood by the inexpressible openness, the rich emotions expressed by concise words, the catchy and meticulous beauty. Only in this way can we truly feel the profoundness of China's ancient poems and the true beauty of literature. But any kind of literary carrier is hard to say.

But now is an era of fast food culture, and everything is fast. These traditional and exquisite cultures seem to be drifting away from us. It's a waste of time to concentrate on your studies but be considered useless. Especially when you are still struggling for material life, is it really necessary to learn ancient poetry just to cultivate sentiment?

A few days ago, I saw that the winner of the third season of the China Ancient Poetry Conference was a little brother who sent a courier. Suddenly, I was suddenly enlightened. Learning doesn't have to be useful, but interest can be used. Like the courier brother, he recited that beautiful poem for more than ten years and integrated it into the bone marrow. Become an indispensable part of your daily life. Maybe one day in the future, you will suddenly find that your life has been sublimated, and the artistic conception of life is far from it.

Yesterday, I listened to another Fandeng Reading Club, which was written by Bill Porter, a famous American sinologist. Following the author's footsteps, I traveled all over the world of China, and every corner fell. Use the artistic conception of poetry to find the footprints of poets left by Chinese civilization for thousands of years, pour a glass of wine in their birthplace and grave, and use their poems to enjoy their pride, grace, bitterness and helplessness.

This is a poetic journey to wash the soul, from north to south, from east to west, all over the land of China. Explore the wonderful works left by poets in different periods. There are those we are familiar with, such as Li Bai, Wang Wei, Han Yu, Lu You, Meng Haoran … and those we are not familiar with. They have their own style and lifestyle, which are deeply branded with the times. Some have been memorized by us since childhood, and some are obscure. Even if we scrutinize them carefully, we can only see the shape and meaning.

Listening carefully to the author's poems about China's ancient poems and reading the blog posts of literary masters, I am really ashamed of my ignorance and ignorance as a China person. It suddenly occurred to me that if one day, I can also take a book on a cultural journey, how wonderful it would be!
