The verses are as follows:
1. Fairy Lingbo is born with dusty socks, and she steps lightly on the water under the moonlight. ——Huang Tingjian's "Jade Daffodils in Second Rhyme"
Translation: Daffodils are like fairies on the waves, wearing stockings and walking lightly on the water under the moonlight.
2. There are six golden bows on the jade plate, and flower branches in the green Yao bush. ——"Guang Qun Fang Pu" by Liu Hao of the Qing Dynasty
Translation: There is a golden wine cup-like stamen hidden in the middle of six jade plate-like petals, and flowers grow out of the middle of the green straight stem.
3. The rhyme and fragrance are still perfect, the flowers are clear and the moon is not yet clear. ——"Narcissus" by Yang Wanli in the Song Dynasty
Translation: Narcissus has a fragrant and delicate smell, and its elegant style is second to none among all flowers. Compared with the simple and elegant moonlight, the color of daffodils also ranks above it.
Characteristics of narcissus:
Narcissus flowers are beautiful in shape, fresh and refined, and most of them only bloom on one branch, and they do not grow together, representing a kind of loneliness. Realm and formidable respect, the so-called one flower, one world, grows, survives alone in its own world, and then withers.
Daffodils have clean flowers and elegant figures, sitting in the world like fairies. Therefore, the flower language also has the meaning of pure love. It is suitable for gifting to close friends and best friends, representing that each other is as pure as narcissus. Friendship lasts forever and never fades.
