The first point is to read correctly. Here, "accurate reading" first refers to accurate pronunciation. The second is to read the rhythm correctly. Finally, read the rhyme clearly and loudly. "Correct reading" is the bottom line of modern poetry teaching and a "guarantee project", which must be highly valued. The implementation of this key point should give full play to the leading role of teachers and strengthen the reading and careful guidance of model essays.
The second point is a rough understanding. The so-called "rough understanding" means that the understanding of the content is extensive and vague. Students can get a general understanding with the help of relevant materials or in connection with real life and existing knowledge, without requiring "depth" and "accuracy". Such as "we love you, China" in the fifth section:
"We love you-
Ancient songs played by chimes during the Warring States period,
New songs written by reform and opening up,
China Wan Li surging spring tide, the motherland lit the fire of hope. "
A student thinks that this passage has been written all the way to the reform and opening up, which reminds her of the great achievements made by China in the past year, such as the successful hosting of the Olympic Games by "Shenzhou VII". As a China native, she is proud and full of confidence in the future of her motherland. This overall perception is very valuable for children who have just entered the sixth grade.
The third key point is expansion. The "expansion" here is to select representative sections, supplement information, contact old knowledge and restore the picture. For example, the second paragraph of We Love You, China:
"We love you-
The beauty of Guilin's landscape,
The makeup of the West Lake in Hangzhou has faded.
Huangshan Mountain and Lushan Mountain are shrouded in mist.
The magnificence of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River. "
When teaching this section, I first supplemented a text selected by the People's Education Press textbook-Guilin Landscape, and recited a paragraph describing Lijiang River and Guilin Landscape. Then, by comparing with the illustrations, students have an intuitive feeling of the beauty and elegance of Guilin's landscape. Next, I asked the students to recall the famous poems and sentences about West Lake, Huangshan Mountain, Lushan Mountain, Yangtze River and Yellow River, which fully mobilized the students' accumulation and inspired their feelings of loving the great rivers and mountains of the motherland.
The fourth point is reciting. This is an important teaching link to sublimate emotion and accumulate language. Teachers should guide students to read the emotions and thoughts expressed in poems through the guidance of some skills and methods, so as to gain spiritual pleasure.
The fifth point is parody. There are also related requirements in the "exercise questions" after class: "Write a sentence or two after the second to sixth stanza of this poem." The teacher doesn't have to force all the students to finish this exercise, but students at the upper-middle level can do it.
