Modern Poetry and Appreciation Brief

Worry-Dai Wangshu

said it was the clear sorrow of lonely autumn,

said it was the lovesickness of the distant sea.

If someone asks me about my troubles,

I dare not say your name,

If someone asks me about my troubles.

It's the lovesickness of the distant sea,

It's the clear sorrow of lonely autumn.

Appreciation

The number of poems written by the poet Dai Wangshu is small (only over a hundred), but it occupies an important position in the poetry circle; He has no systematic poetics, but his Poems on Zero Zagreb and Wang Shu's Poetics compiled by his friend Du Heng are highly valued. He appeared as a modernist in the poetic world, but at the end of his life, he wrote a real chapter soaked with blood and tears.

In the history of new poetry, Dai Wangshu has his own position, but his position is not very high.

Around the May 4th Movement, the torrent of science and democracy awakened generations of intellectuals. The fierce contradiction between the beautiful ideal and the dark reality enveloped their sensitive hearts. The sense of social mission of "knowing what not to do" enveloped a huge group of "worries". Dai Wangshu is one of the most loyal worriers in the world from the real world to poetry. He wrote many poems of the worriers, and this outstanding poem "Worry" made a concentrated observation and portrait of the mentality and spirit of this group.

This poem is from Dai Wangshu's poetry collection "Wang Shucao". As an important poet of the "Modernism" school, an important school of China poetry in 193s, Dai Wangshu's poems focus on describing the spiritual track of modern people's life perception and emotional experience. In the journey of life, there are sunny euphoria and excitement, as well as rainy distress and worry. Then, what is the worry that is smoldering in the poet's heart at the moment? The poet didn't show it directly.

clear autumn is a season of longing for people, and the sea is full of endless lovesickness, which makes people feel sad when reading it. Coupled with "loneliness" and "remoteness", the poet's feeling of loneliness and helplessness is more profound and detailed, and a feeling of "heartbroken people are in the end of the world" arises spontaneously. However, in this sad, lonely, the author has a whim, and someone comes to ask you about your troubles and your worries. What will you answer at this moment? Do you want to come clean and tell each other all your worries, or do you want to keep it a secret? Although you have the freedom to choose, can you play dumb when asked by your caring friends? Then, how to express this awkward psychology? "I dare not say your name." The word "dare not" really expresses the author's contradictory mentality and leads the reader to endless reverie. The above four sentences, just thirty-six words, vividly depict the author's deep nostalgia, fierce struggle, the taste of "wanting to talk about it" and the unforgettable acacia, which is both meaningful and intense.

In the following four sentences, the above four sentences are arranged in reverse. They look like palindrome poems in a rough way, but they are not simple repetitions when they are considered in detail, and they are not mysterious like a gesture of ostentation. Instead, the author's endless and increasingly surging feelings of missing are being indulged and vented. The first sentence is like repetition and truth, and the contact and care are airtight. Although it is a fierce and contradictory "dare not say". But the hope to pour out one's feelings is so urgent. Here, the author provides us with a broad imagination space, where you may wish to make a perceptual fugue. The whole poem ends with "clearing the sorrow", but it just expresses the unusual way for mature thinkers to express their complex mentality with the' common language of "it's cool to have a good autumn".

There are two groups of eight sentences in the whole poem, which are arranged symmetrically, with neat form and harmonious syllables. This is the result of the author's deep influence on China's traditional cultural metrical poems. The rhyme of the first four sentences sets an opportunity for the repetition of the last four sentences, so it is very catchy to read and gives people a pleasant feeling of fragrant teeth.

seeing you off

Author: Lin Ling

That red light is coming

It's the last bus

You jump on it gently, don't look back

I can see your shadow

It's strange, why is it not cold in winter

Why can an association never be divided

. The rain falls

someone puts up the collar of a coat ...

Appreciation:

The poet Lin Ling's works usually have a cold tone, and she is very good at turning this coldness into rich images and turning them into poems to express her emotions, such as After the Show, such as Visit, and this one, such as Farewell, which are almost cold and faint. This kind of cold tone will not make people cold, but it is clear and refreshing, such as a glass of cold water, from mouth to throat, and then through esophagus to stomach, which will always make people slowly aftertaste.

This poem is exactly like this: "The one who hung the red light came/was the last bus/you jumped on it gently, don't look back/I can see your shadow". Friends should be reluctant to part with each other, but the author here says not to look back, just want to look at your shadow. "Why is it not cold in winter?" "On my way home, it rained/someone put up the collar of my coat ..." Is it really not cold? Then why did the collar stand up? Here, the author is contradictory. It is a phenomenon in many works of Lin Ling that this cold tone is rendered extremely special and makes people feel warm when reading it.
