"Poetry" in the modern sense has no word limit. A long epic can be a book, and a short story can be several lines.
"Poetry" in a broad sense includes China's traditional poems, including seven (five) words and eight sentences, four quatrains and more than one thousand word forms, each of which has different word limits.
