He was from the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Bian Que is well-known among the people, and there are still legends and allusions about him. The story of Bian Que throwing stones comes from The Warring States Policy, which is a story about Bian Que and Qin Wuwang. At that time, Qin Wuwang, the monarch of the State of Qin, was ill, and the imperial doctor in the palace could not cure his illness. Qin Wuwang has been living in pain. When he heard that his medical skills were superb, he sent someone to invite him to the State of Qin. After he came to Qin, he told him about his illness. After careful diagnosis, Bian Que told Qin Wuwang that he could cure his disease by himself. Qin Wuwang was very happy after hearing this, and thought that Bian Que was a happy doctor. However, Qin Wuwang's cronies said to Qin Wuwang: You are sick in front of your ears and under your eyes. This position is awkward. If Bian Que's treatment is not perfect, your ears will be blind and your eyes will be blind, which is a very unwise choice. After listening to his cronies, Qin Wuwang felt very reasonable, so he told Bian Que what he said.
