Traveling by boat, passing by Jingmen, I came to the hometown of Chu.
The green hills are gradually disappearing, and Ping Ye is endless. The Yangtze River surges and flows into the vast wasteland.
The moon reflects the river, just like flying a mirror tomorrow; Clouds rise and change endlessly, forming a mirage.
I'm reluctant to part with the water in my hometown. Not far away, Wan Li sent me boating.

The poet traveled far along the Yangtze River to Jingmen, the hometown where the river flowed, which once raised him. How could he not be reluctant to part with him for the first time? However, the poet did not say that he missed his hometown, but said that the water of his hometown reluctantly sent me on a long journey.
