(1) Lvhui: It means the earth is rejuvenated. Huangdi ordered Ling Lun to cut off bamboo into a tube (later people also used metal tubes) to set the tone and wait for the Qi of December. The six yang divisions are Lu, namely Huangzhong, Taicu, Guxi, Ruibin, Yize, and Wushe; the six yin divisions are Lu, namely Dalu, Jiaozhong, Zhonglu, Linzhong, Nanlu, and Yingzhong. The twelfth month of the lunar calendar belongs to Lu, and the first month belongs to Lü. The beginning of spring is often at the turn of December and January, so it is called "Lühui".
