Fine prose of Taxus chinensis

The first article: Taxus chinensis in my hometown (prose)

My hometown is in the southwest of Wencheng, adjacent to Jingning County. Surrounded by mountains, a clear stream flows through the village, which is surrounded by bamboo. This is an ancient village. When you come here from the noisy downtown, you may have a feeling of original ecology! There are many tall and stout ancient trees here, most of which are hundreds of years old. They are yew, ginkgo, torreya grandis, Liquidambar formosana and chestnut. The most unforgettable thing is the Millennium Taxus tree at the head of the village. It is tall and straight, majestic and towering. There are many powerful branches on its trunk, and many branches are stretched out, standing beside the village like a beautiful hill. Graceful cracks in the branches shed mottled sunlight on the ground. There is a "landlord" temple under the tree, so the villagers have always called it that.

Every time I go back to my hometown, I always forget to walk under the yew tree and look for the "Buddha tree" in my dream. When I saw her unique body, without affectation, and released her infinite feelings for nature and infinite dedication to people, my heart was intoxicated. It has been said that Taxus chinensis is like a simple young man in the mountains. He is not picky about life and can get along well in hot summer and cold winter. When the rain comes, it chooses silence; When the wind comes, it smiles. In the face of ups and downs, she can show plum blossom-like pride, orchid-like fragrance, chrysanthemum-like indifference and bamboo-like nobility.

This yew tree in my hometown has experienced many ups and downs and left many beautiful memories; For thousands of years, people in the village have been farming here, and this is the place where the old people and children in the village chat and play; It is also a place where passers-by from south to north are tired and rest; It has also become a place for people to meet with villagers for leisure after a meal. Although I seldom go home, my childhood memories often remind me of the "Buddha tree" yew in my hometown, and I have always been moved by its graceful image.

Taxus chinensis is also known as Taxus chinensis and Pinus densiflora. It is said that Taxus chinensis extract paclitaxel has a unique anticancer mechanism and is recognized as a rare and endangered natural anticancer plant in the world. People in the village didn't know it was called yew before, and they didn't know it was so precious. Since being labeled as a "national first-class protected forest", everyone has cherished this sacred tree that has protected the villagers for thousands of years. Full of vitality all year round. It entrusts the happiness and hope of the whole village, and also brings us infinite beautiful reverie. In that cold winter, when you look at it, those bleak and cold feelings are swept away, giving you unlimited vitality and hope. If there is an opportunity, you are welcome to see the magical nature there, hold a thousand-year-old yew, drink a mouthful of unpolluted mountain spring water and indulge in a paradise.

In fact, why not in one's life? When we sigh that time has passed in a hurry, beauty and youth no longer belong to us. When the tree of life enters winter, it, like yew, dedicates infinite vitality to people, so that everyone can feel the beauty like spring all the time; In fact, as long as we grasp every journey of life, no matter which season, there will be a vibrant beauty to show to ourselves and others. Why don't we show the most beautiful side of life like yew? Let us always shine green vitality in the depths of life, make our steps easier and make our mood happier.

Taxus chinensis in my hometown, let it be moved by our life forever, moved by life!

The second part: the Millennium Taxus chinensis of Wu Wang.

Taxus chinensis is recognized as an endangered and rare natural plant in the world. Among the only remaining yews in China today, people often say nothing more than Yunnan yew, Tibet yew and Northeast yew. However, there is a little-known thousand-year-old yew in the forest hills of Wuwang Mountain area in the Central Plains.

Linshan is located at the foot of the East Mountain of the Temple of Heaven Peak in Wuwang, 35 kilometers west of Jiyuan City, with the majestic Taihang Mountain in the north and the Jiuqu Yellow River in the south.

In mid-March this year, when the peach blossoms were in full bloom, I made an appointment with some friends with urgent feelings to see the majestic appearance of the Millennium-old tree in Linshan, Wu Wang. We started from the city, drove west along Ji Shao Highway for half an hour, arrived at Xiaoyou River, crossed the bridge, turned right and went north along the river, and entered the beautiful "Shili Corridor" of Forest Mountain.

The temperature here is still very low, but the breath of spring is already very strong. The willows on both sides of the river show green buds, and unknown flowers are flashing outside the window. This car is like a beetle crawling on the back of a snake. It went over the top of the mountain and fell into a deep valley. The river in the upper reaches is gurgling and crystal clear. Many tourists take their children to turn stones and catch crabs in this water. We crossed the small swimming river and climbed up the narrow path. About 500 meters to the west, we came to Zibaizhuang, where a thousand-year-old yew was growing.

I looked around the mountains, and the continuous bushes and white grass spread on the undulating ridges. Suddenly, a huge canopy on the hillside stood out. Before entering the tree, we saw brown stamens the size of rice grains covered with branches, and thick green leaves made the lush crown more robust and gorgeous. The tree is not too high, but it is strong, and the five of us can hold it hand in hand.

Taxus chinensis has captured our hearts and souls with its infinite charm. My friends and I saw it and took pictures as a souvenir. Taxus chinensis, also known as cypress, is a rare tree species left over from Quaternary glaciers and grows above 900 meters above sea level. Evergreen all the year round, but the Taxus chinensis growing in Forest Mountain is13.5m high, with a bust of 5.64m, an average crown width of about 20m square and a tree age of 1300 years. It is the largest existing ancient yew in Henan Province, and it is a national first-class key protected plant.

After years of vicissitudes, the trees of Taxus chinensis have some holes, and the marks of wind and rain can be seen at a glance. It has lived alone in the mountains dozens of kilometers in Fiona Fang for more than 1300 years, which amazed us.

A family next to the tree has lived next to this tree for generations. They call it Baizishuzhuang, which is named after this tree. Three stone houses are located in the ravine, and the mountain stream is gurgling in front of us. The surrounding cherry blossoms and dogwoods are full of trees, bees come and go, and kittens lie lazily on the ground and sleep sweetly. An old lady was very enthusiastic to see us. She let us enter the house, pour water and offer meals, which showed the simplicity and truth of the villagers.

The breath of spring is everywhere, but in the less famous place of Jiyuan Linshan, I feel that the water is greener, the flowers are thicker, the sky is bluer and the peaks are more majestic. In addition, there are rare natural landscapes and cultural anecdotes under the gestation and elegance of Taihang Mountain and Wuwang Mountain. Many animals and plants have been submerged in the long river of history. However, Taxus chinensis, which has flourished for more than 0/000 years, has deeply infected me with its vigor, straightness, perseverance and ability to adapt to nature, inspiring people who are running on the road to success like me.
