Psalm 1 19 How to read the Bible in sections is better understood. I lead my brothers and sisters to read the Bible. Because it is too long, it can be better understood by looking at it in sections.

Psalm 1 19 This is the longest poem and the longest chapter in the Bible. It may have been written by Ezra after the reconstruction of the temple, which allows us to meditate on the beauty of God's Word and help us get rid of dirt and grow in faith. Chapter 1 19 is divided into 22 parts with strict layout, each part starts with a continuous Hebrew letter, and each section of this part starts with the same letter. Almost every verse refers to the word of God. This repetitive structure is very common in Hebrew culture. At that time, unlike us, the Israelites didn't have their own Bible, so they used it to remember the word of God and passed it on from mouth to mouth. The structure of this poem is easy to remember. Remember, God's Word-Bible is the only absolute guide for us to live a pure life.

Section 1 19:9 We are about to drown in an unclean sea, and we are tempted to live an unclean life everywhere. The poet's question also puzzles us: how can we live a clean life in such a filthy environment? You can't do it on your own. We must have a think tank that can tell us something, which is more powerful than the temptations around us. Where can I find such wisdom and strength? Just read the Bible and do what it says.

119:11To keep God's word in mind is to stop evil. This is a scripture that inspires us to recite the Bible. But you can't keep yourself from committing crimes by chanting. We must make God's Word live in our lives and make it an important guide for our actions.

Section 1 19: 12-24 Many of us hate rules and think they are too strict, which restricts us from doing what we want. At first glance, the poet was quite strange, and even said, "I am very satisfied with your statutes, just like a piece of property." But God's law is to set us free and let us do what God wants us to do. They prevent us from doing things that will destroy us and from getting the best. God's guidance helps us to follow God's path and avoid going to destruction.

The poet said that he was a "stranger on the ground", so he needed guidance. A long journey requires maps and guides. When we go through the journey of life, the Bible should be our guide map, pointing out where is the safe route, the obstacles to avoid and our final destination. We must realize that we are travelers on the earth and need to learn God's map to find our way. If we ignore the map, we will lose our way.

Section 1 19:27-28 Our life is confused by many books about rules, and those authors have never helped us abide by these rules. But god is not like this. This is the uniqueness of the Bible. God not only provides us with rules and guidelines, but also is with us personally every day, giving us the strength to live according to God's rules. All we have to do is accept God and respond to his guidance.

In today's world, people are greedy for economic benefits most of the time. Money represents power, influence and success. For many people, money is God. They don't want anything else. Yes, money can buy some comfort. But what is more precious than wealth is to know God, because this is not worldly wealth, but heavenly wealth (see. 12:33). No matter what our economic situation is, we must do everything God tells us to do. Let the poet's prayer become our own prayer, and ask God to turn our hearts from making more money to God's witness; In the long run, it will be good for us.

In section 1 19:44-46, the poet talks about obeying the law, but having the freedom of behavior choice. This is contrary to what we usually expect. Obeying God's laws is not to restrict us, but to set us free and become people who meet God's requirements. Seeking God's redemption and forgiveness can often free us from sin and guilt. Following God's way of life is to let God realize his plan in our lives.

Section119: 97-104 God's Word makes us smarter than our enemies and all teachers who ignore it. True wisdom exceeds knowledge; It is very practical in life transformation. People with high IQ and rich experience are not necessarily smart. Wisdom comes from what God has taught us.

Section 1 19: 105 Walking in the jungle at night, we need light so that we won't trip over the roots or fall into the pit. Our life will also pass through the dark forest of sin, and the Bible is the light leading the way in front of us, pointing out the roots and potholes of darkness. Studying the Bible can help us see the road clearly and keep our feet on the right path.

Section119:113 A half-hearted person cannot make a decision between good and evil. There is no middle way to obey God. We must take a clear stand, either obeying God or not obeying, or doing what God wants us to do, or not doing it. We should choose to obey God and say in the words of the poet, "I love your law."

The poet turned to God for understanding. When we apply the Bible in our daily work, our confidence will be active. We need to understand, so we need to apply the scriptures where we need them. The Bible is like medicine. It works when it is applied to an infected area. When we read the Bible, we should pay attention to the lessons, commands and examples that can be applied in practice.

Faithfulness is one aspect of God's character. It shows the perfect truth. God doesn't lie. He is a true and reliable guide and help (refer to jn.17:14-17). The Bible is completely true and reliable.

Section 1 19: 165 People in modern society long for peace of mind. Here is a clear instruction on how to get peace: If we love God and obey God's laws, we will have "great peace". I believe that only God can override the pressure of daily life and give us a guarantee of safety.
