Zheng Che's Literary Achievements
Zheng Che is a master of Korean poetry and lyrics. His lyrics are exquisite and vivid, which makes people listen to his songs and observe his lyrics as if they were there. He not only insisted on writing in Korean, but also wrote poems in people's living language, which is one of the reasons for the success of his national songs. He also wrote a lot of contemporary poems and some excellent China poems. Zheng Che's political twists and turns directly influenced his creation. Representative works include songs in Korean, such as Kanto Biequ, Siqu and Xumei Renqu. Ode to the Guandong is a long poem describing the scenery, which was written to praise the mountains and rivers when he visited Mount Kumgang and other eight scenic spots in Guandong, and also inserted stories and customs. "Four Beautiful Songs" and "Continued Four Beautiful Songs" describe women who miss their lovers. She poured out her heart and expressed her loyalty to love. Every change of the season can cause all kinds of fluctuations in her psychology, adding a worrying suspense. It is generally believed that the original intention of these two songs is not to write about love, but to entrust the author with the idea of cherishing the monarch when he is frustrated. However, it is the descriptions of love that move people's hearts. As love poems, the two works have been circulated for a long time, which is a bold challenge to Taoist poetry that ruled the poetry world at that time. As a great writer and songwriter, Zheng Che became a double gem in the history of ancient Korean poetry. His ci and ci had a great influence on Korean poetry after17th century.
