Yu Zihan’s biography

Yu Zihan, whose real name is Yu Jian, was born in the 1960s. He is a Tujia nationality and a native of Yanhe, Guizhou. He is a member of the Chinese Writers Association, a member of the Chinese Poetry Society, a member of the Chinese Prose Society, a director of the Chinese Prose Poetry Research Association, and a member of Guizhou Province. Member of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Vice Chairman of the Guizhou Provincial Writers Association, Executive Director of the Guizhou Provincial Writing Society, Vice President of the Guizhou Prose and Poetry Society, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of Guizhou University for Nationalities, Professor of the School of Communication and Master Tutor of the School of Liberal Arts of Guizhou University for Nationalities. Published several collections of prose poems such as "The Lonely Sun", a collection of essays "Composition on a Rainy Day", a collection of poems "Blue Sky", an academic monograph "Research on Cross-Media Literary Style Writing" (379,000 words), and a theoretical work "Guide to Practical Style Writing" 》 (co-authored, 450,000 words), etc. His works have been selected into nearly 30 kinds of authoritative anthologies, major dictionaries, and literature readers for universities and middle schools such as "Twentieth Century Classic Chinese Prose Poetry". In July 1997, the Guizhou Provincial People's Government awarded the second prize of the first "National Literature Creation Award"; in November 1997, his representative work "The Lonely Sun" won the fifth National National Literature Creation "Horse Award"; in November 2007, commemorated The Chinese Prose Poetry 90 Years Award Committee awarded the "Top Ten Outstanding Chinese Contemporary Prose Poetry Writers" award at the China Modern Literature Museum in Beijing; in October 2008, the Guizhou Provincial Writing Society won the "Top Ten Young and Middle-aged Writers" award on the 25th anniversary of its founding.
