The whole poem uses metaphor, and the natural star Altair Vega is divided into two banks of the Milky Way, which is a metaphor for the separation of husband and wife in the world. Among them, the phrase "I cry like rain all day long" is explained in some teaching reference books:
It is said that after the Weaver Girl and the Cowherd fell in love and got married, the Queen Mother broke up the Weaver Girl and the Cowherd because of her violation of the dogma, and they separated on both sides of the Galaxy. Only after the Weaver Girl weaved into a horse can they meet each other. However, the evil-intentioned Queen Mother used a spell on the Weaver Girl, so that she couldn't weave a cloth, so the sad Weaver Girl had to cry to the loom day after day.
according to this statement, "crying like rain all day long" has such a logical relationship: "crying like rain" is both the cause and the result. "No chapter is broken all day" has become the key to the problem and the focus of contradiction. Because of the existence of "no chapter all day", it will inevitably lead to the result of "crying like rain".
However, no matter from the textual research in the changing process of the myth of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, or from the emotional changes of the poem itself, "no chapter can be broken all day" can not be the reason for "crying like rain".
