Violin New Year Song: Spring in Xinjiang

Spring in Xinjiang is a Chinese violin solo. Written by Ma Yaoxian and Li on 1956. The music is fluent, the feelings are unrestrained, and it has a distinct Uygur music style.

This is a single trilogy. The first part of the theme is strong and powerful, starting with the dichotomy of long notes inlaid with decorative sounds. The music gradually split into lively jumping rhythm sounds played by the jumping bow, and then there was a smooth and gorgeous bow-receiving performance. In the middle section, it was transferred to D major and the original A major successively, and a melody with dance rhythm was played with two strings, showing the scene of people jumping up and cheering with joyful hands.

After the music reached its climax, it suddenly introduced a cadenza with left-handed plucking, chord-playing and fast bow-playing, and then entered the third part of theme reproduction. There are three bars at the end of the curve, which are composed of core sound materials.

The music is unrestrained and fluent, natural and unrestrained, with distinct Uygur national music style, which reflects the happy life interest of Xinjiang people after liberation. It is also an excellent work that everyone is familiar with. In a slow finale, the violin and piano played powerful chords together, ending the whole song neatly.
