The dream of every river

"I don't feel the dream of spring grass in the pond. The leaves in front of the steps are already singing autumn songs." The pace of time is to inadvertently sweep the withered flowers in spring, the silent cicadas in summer, then the fallen leaves in autumn and the dancing snowflakes in winter. The summer vacation of 20 18 has arrived, and it is also my tenth year of employment. It's been ten years, right? I can't believe it. After all, it is ten years, 3650 days. Ten years can make a seed grow into a tree, enough for a newly graduated girl to become a professional mother. But graduation photo, who sent off the first batch of students at my desk, and even my younger brother who confided in me every time to prepare for the postgraduate entrance examination, reminded me that all this was true-it was because of him that I came to Xingang and started the first decade of my teaching career.

I remember when I was at school, the Chinese teacher often used this sentence of Confucius to teach us the value of time. I should have failed to understand this sentence at that time. Otherwise, we wouldn't have wasted so much time. Every night, I often feel heartache when I think about the time spent on my mobile phone, variety shows and meaningless social activities during the day. With the growth of age and the deepening of experience, as a math teacher with poor Chinese, I admire the saints who made such vivid metaphors thousands of years ago. Since ancient times, rivers have always been an excellent carrier for philosophers to explain their philosophy: Heraclitus said, "People can't step into the same river twice"; Yang Shen's song "The Yangtze River flows East, Waves Scour Heroes" has spread to this day. I also want to follow the footsteps of the sages and express my educational philosophy through rivers: I think every student of mine is a river. Some rivers are winding, some rivers are straight, some rivers originate from towering snow-capped mountains, and some rivers are composed of passing rain. However, as Yu said, every river has its own different life curve, but every river has its own dream, that is, to run to the sea. From the first day of teaching, I have always reminded myself that children's dreams are the most important, and my task is to protect children's dreams and help them realize them.

? 13 years, the film "Chinese Partner" was released. At first, I just regarded it as an inspirational movie, but later I found that the movie was more than that. Huang Xiaoming's Cheng is based on 1962, born in an ordinary rural family in Jiangsu. At that time, the college entrance examination had not been expanded. For most people, going to college is a distant thing. I was no exception. 1978 and 1979 failed in the college entrance examination twice because of my poor English, so I chose to try again. Finally, I was admitted to the Department of Western Languages in Peking University with 1980. At that time, my English score was only 93. This rural child who had racked his brains to learn English never imagined that he would become the principal of the largest English training institution in China in the future after he dropped out of school due to tuberculosis and the counseling institution was closed. While achieving great success, we are still encouraging more people who dare not try. In his speech, he said: every river has its own different life curve, but every river has its own dream, that is, to run to the sea. Sometimes our life will be sediment, and you may slowly settle down like sediment. Once you settle down, you may not have to work hard for progress, but you will never see the sun. So no matter what your life is like now, you must have the spirit of water, like water, constantly accumulate strength and constantly break through obstacles, but when you find that the time is wrong, accumulate your thickness, and then you can rush into the sea and achieve your life!

? Interest is the best teacher, which President Nie has emphasized countless times. As a pioneer of primary education, many of his theories have benefited me a lot. My brother graduated from Xingang. He is not good at math in primary school. I often tutor him, so his grades are not bad. But junior high school, high school. Until the university, his math scores became worse and worse. After all, he didn't cultivate his interest in mathematics. Because traditional mathematics teaching pays too much attention to mechanical skill training and abstract logical reasoning, and ignores the connection with real life, many students have a boring and mysterious impression on mathematics, thus losing their interest and motivation in learning. To this end, we must abandon the past practice of "cutting off the head and burning the middle part", and strive to make mathematics come from life and be used in life, so that students can feel and experience that mathematics is around and used everywhere in life, so we must learn mathematics well. I summarize as follows:

(1) Tracing back to the source with students and cultivating their intrinsic motivation to learn mathematics.

Many concepts, algorithms and rules in primary school mathematics can be traced back to their knowledge background. Teachers should try their best to extend their mathematics knowledge in teaching and seek its source, so that students can understand where the mathematics knowledge comes from and why. On this basis, students will have intrinsic learning motivation by teaching new knowledge. Take the simplest multiplication table of 1999 as an example. I don't want my students to recite it mechanically. I prefer to show them the wisdom of the ancients and the charm of mathematics from the simple multiplication formula. After feeling the charm of mathematics, you will naturally have the motivation to learn.

? To make students interested in mathematics, teachers should first be interested in the subjects they teach, which naturally arouses students' interest in mathematics classes. This requires teachers to be attentive teachers and use all available details to stimulate students' interest. For example, "Do you know" in math textbooks contains a lot of common sense, such as who invented Arabic numerals and how did they spread to China? How many times does the human heart beat a year? Students are also interested in such questions. They are consciously infiltrated into children in the classroom, and they will be attracted by the richness of mathematics classes, and naturally they will be interested in mathematics classes.

(B) the combination of mathematics and life

? Mathematics originates from life, and only by proceeding from reality can it be easy to operate and understand. Modern educational theory holds that mathematics comes from life, which is full of mathematics, and mathematics teaching should be embodied and applied in real life. Therefore, in teaching, math teachers should consciously guide students to communicate with specific problems in life and related math problems, stimulate students' curiosity in learning math, find math problems in life, analyze and solve practical problems with what they have learned, and guide students to conduct research-based learning. For example, when teaching length units, let students really measure the surrounding objects by themselves, and use their body parts as measuring tools to measure or estimate the distance or size of objects. Also, when learning the overall planning method and equivalent replacement, let students experience their functions in life, so that they can do it and change it in class. It's not difficult to bring math lessons into life. As long as we think hard and experience mathematics in life first, we can guide students to solve practical problems with mathematics in life, and naturally love learning mathematics and falling in love with mathematics classes. Some knowledge can successfully solve the problem of "how to go", which is also the ultimate goal and destination of students learning mathematics.

? Harmonious teacher-student relationship can make teaching work twice the result with half the effort. When I get along with students, I prefer to be their friend rather than a teacher with a sense of distance. We will spend June 1st together. On their festivals, my children will happily pick up the June 1 gift and enjoy the fun of their childhood. Feeling their heartfelt happiness, I seem to have returned to my childhood. In order to help students consolidate their knowledge, I usually have a quiz and give them exercises every day, which is the happiest time of my day. Some people frown when they see dozens of small heads under the podium. This is a problem, and some people breathe a sigh of relief. This is the last question of the paper. Imagine their faces when they got the paper and regretted not listening well. Glad to review the test center before the exam? I will prepare a customs clearance form for them. Everyone can see their own customs clearance on the customs clearance form, understand the gap between themselves and others, and then try to make up the gap and make progress.

Ye Zhi, an Irish poet, believes that education is not to fill a bucket of water, but to light a fire. I will use my enthusiasm and efforts to guide every river that runs to the sea.
