Speaking of ancient literature, I have to say that Tang poetry is really one of the highlights, and even regarded as the standard of China's poetry. Speaking of Tang poetry, some people say that reading Zhang's "Moonlit Night on a Spring River" is enough, gorgeous and thorough, but I think Li Bai is the one who can't escape Tang poetry. He floated in the clouds and was born out of the dust. His poems are romantic and bizarre. So, next I want to share with you my superficial understanding of Li Bai's "drinking".
There are so many famous works by Shi Xian that anyone seems to be able to recite a few words. My favorite is this song "Into the Wine". Li Bai's ancient Yuefu poem "Into the Wine" is one of the eighteen cymbals in Han Yuefu. The original lyrics of Yuefu in Han Dynasty are difficult to understand, because the first sentence is "drinking", and later literati wrote all about drinking. Li Bai's poems follow the old tradition and take drinking as the theme.
Regardless of how many poets who have moved to other places throughout the ages prefer drinking poems, let's say that Li Bai himself has mentioned the happiness of wine and feasting in many works. There is "Until, hold up my cup, I ask the bright moon, take my shadow, let the three of us" who drink alone, "but since the water is still flowing, although we cut it with our swords, we raise a glass to eliminate more sorrow" who is drunk to eliminate sadness, "If the poem fails, they will be punished according to the amount of wine in the Golden Valley", but I love "five flowers, thousands of dollars, and give it to the boy in exchange for good wine. Be kind to your friends, how can you do without good wine? The leather coat of a famous horse, but the things outside the body will be restored after going. How can a wedding be like a group of relatives and friends, talking about wine together and enjoying it heartily?
Let's talk about the content of this poem again. It consists of three words, five words and seven words, full of indignation and excitement at that time. In addition, the choice of words is easy to understand and not obscure, and it also appears natural and smooth. The first four sentences use the word "I don't see you" to draw our attention to two phenomena: one is how the water of the Yellow River moves out of the sky and into the ocean, which is gone forever, to describe that time is gone forever and fleeting; The second is to explain that people grow old fast and life is short with "a mirror on a shelf, black in the morning and snowy in the night"; So when you are proud of your life, eat, drink and be merry in time, and don't waste it. "Didn't you see" is an expression that has appeared in Yuefu in Han Dynasty, meaning "Didn't you see?" In fact, like "look" and "look" used in our new poems, they are additional components to strengthen the following tone. Even if these two sentences "I didn't see you" are deleted, it doesn't matter. The poem has no flaws. After deletion, this paragraph is six neat seven-character quatrains.
After the second paragraph, the general idea is: since God gave birth to me, I must be useful. Don't worry if you run out of money, there will always be more. Now you might as well cook sheep and kill cattle for fun. You should drink as much as you want. One cup is 300 cups. Advise Master Cen and Dan Qiusheng to drink to their heart's content, don't stop drinking, and sing a drinking song to them: Zhong Ding's jade and silk, the ostentation and extravagance of rich children, I don't think it's worth paying attention to, just want to get drunk for a long time. Since ancient times, sages have been lonely and nameless, and only those who drink have left their names forever. Chen Caozhi wrote in "Famous Capital" that "the banquet is peaceful, and wine competes for thousands." Friends are laughing and laughing. Why does the host say he has no money and can't bear to drink? We should get some wine at once and treat everyone to a good drink. The "master" seems to be satirizing himself or laughing at himself. It doesn't matter when you are short of money. You have to drink, which leads to the last three sentences. Money is tight, but we still have five flowers and thousands of golden foxes at home. We can ask our son to take him out for a drink, and we will still drink and laugh together. It not only responds to the beginning of the article, such as the running of a river, but also has twists and turns, and can carry the tripod.
In addition, the writing method of this poem includes both the pregnant writing method with songs in it and the wonderful pen without pen and ink, which is neither easy to learn nor easy to achieve. Poetry is mainly scattered, mixed with short antitheses (such as "The Sound of Cenfuzi Dan Qiusheng" and "Five Flowers Horse, Thousand Daughters, Ball Ball"), the rhythm changes rapidly, and it is unrestrained and difficult to flow. "Tang Poetry" said: "Those who read Li's poems are brave and quick, and they must be far away from the gods, that is, the face of the gods." This article is enough. Originally, it was a pleasure to hold a cocktail party, which coincided with the lack of talents. So I took this opportunity to express my feelings about wine, and the poet was just brilliant.
In Li Bai's view, the passage of time is like a river entering the sea, which is gone forever; Life is too short to see the blue silk and snow overnight; Common things have happened one after another since ancient times, and only this bottle of golden wine can solve its worries. It seems to be sighing that life is easy to get old, but it is actually sighing that talent is not met. There is a difference between him and Tao Yuanming! Tao Qian is really addicted to the countryside, drinking and having fun, and wants to stay away from the fetters of the secular and be his Mr. Li Bai, on the other hand, drowned his sorrows by drinking and regretted his lack of talent. In fact, he is waiting for the opportunity to play Bole, hoping that he can make great achievements one day and be a violet layman for the time being. This is the difference between a real hermit and a semi-hermit! Tao Yuanming's drinking is negative to the world, but his personality is positive. Li Bai seems to be positive to the world society, but his personality is negative.
Some people criticize: "the sober people and saints in ancient times have been forgotten, and only great drinkers can be immortalized." These two poems are too arrogant. Are sages and scholars like Confucius and Mencius nameless? And only those drunkards who are famous for their wine will go down in history? But I think this criticism is a bit redundant, and reading literary works can't be so serious and honest. These two poems are only artistic exaggerations for lyric needs, and they are not Li Bai's real thoughts. This syntax, that is, "respect the topic", is usually to emphasize Party A and greatly depress Party B. Li Bai here is just exaggerating the drinker and belittling the name of saints and descendants. Later Bai Juyi also used this method. He wrote in Pipa, "Of course, there are folk songs and village flutes, and it's hard to listen to the dumb ridicule". Tonight, I listened to the pipa, and I felt as if my hearing was illuminated by wonderful music. "It is also to exaggerate the beauty of the merchant woman playing the pipa, saying that Jiangzhou has no good vocal music, but only ugly folk songs and village flutes.
This is my superficial understanding of Li Bai's "drinking". After all, I haven't learned much, so appreciation is inevitably biased. But for Taibai, I really love him, admire him, and am impressed by his personality charm. He is unique, with the wildness and free and easy temperament of the western regions, and has left many excellent works for future generations; His brilliant sturm und drang injected the fierceness and purity of the knights of the western regions into the poetry circle of the Tang Dynasty, which amazed all sentient beings. Why is Into the Wine the most influential one of his works? In my opinion, the unparalleled heroic performance of "Into the Wine" makes you feel fragrant and memorable.
