In 755 AD, the "An Shi Rebellion" broke out, and Du Fu had no choice but to take refuge in Zizhou. In 763 AD, the "An Shi Rebellion" was put down. The following year, Du Fu returned to Chengdu Caotang. Faced with all the vitality, I was in a good mood and couldn't help writing this little poem "Jueju". This poem is one of Du Fu's representative works and depicts a beautiful natural scenery.
The poem Jueju is neat in antithesis and concise in language, which depicts a lively picture and expresses the author's love for nature and yearning for freedom. At the same time, the elements in the poem, such as oriole, egret, willow, blue sky, autumn snow and Wan Li boat, also imply the author's love for life and good expectation for the future.
