Franz Peter Schubert
< p> (1797-1828)Franz Peter Schubert, Austrian composer. Born in Vienna into a family of teachers. He learned violin and piano from his father and brother since he was a child. In 1808, he became a choirboy in the Vienna Royal Cathedral. He also played violin in the student band and learned composition. Songs, ensembles, piano pieces and symphonies have been composed here. From 1813, he worked as an assistant teacher in the school and engaged in composing music. In 1815 alone, he composed more than 250 songs. From 1818 to 1824, he served as court music teacher. He was not yet 32 ??years old when he died. As an outstanding representative of early romantic music, he was discriminated against during his lifetime, but he received high praise after his death and became a music master alongside Mozart and Beethoven.
Schubert is the founder of modern German art songs. The more than 600 songs he has written show his outstanding ability in melody writing. During his eighteen years of intense and uninterrupted creative activities, Schubert completed more than 1,100 works in one go, including 14 operas, nine symphonies, more than 100 choruses, 500 Sixty-seven songs and more.
