From Hong Yingming in Ming Dynasty. Later, this couplet was included by Chen Meigong in Deep Window Notes.
The whole sentence of this couplet is: don't disgrace your mission, just look at the flowers in front of the court; Going or staying is unintentional, and it is easy to follow the clouds.
It means: when people do things, they can be as ordinary as flowers and flowers, and they can be calm; Depending on whether the post will stay or not, it will change like a cloud and be indifferent.
Writing background:
The Story of a Deep Window is a short collection of life philosophy, which reminds people of this world. It focuses on self-cultivation, business, politics, life and so on. With the calmness of a philosopher, the author made a bitter and objective attack on the vulgar world style at that time, revealing that "those who are good at being clear are against turbidity, those who are good at being rich are against poverty, and those who are good at courtesy are against vulgarity."
It is a kind of unrestrained, lofty and detached "hard-to-get-confused" realm of free life, aiming high and far against inferiority, aiming light and far against concentration, aiming high and far against the present.
