Creation background

In the 21st year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (733), Zhang Jiuling served as prime minister in Korea. In the 24th year of Kaiyuan (736), he was slandered by the traitor Li and went on strike. "Full Moon Philip Burkart" should be written after Zhang Jiuling's relegation to Jingzhou in the 24th year of Kaiyuan, and it should belong to the same period as "Twelve Poems of Feeling".

This poem is a masterpiece of longing for the moon.
