On the Artistic Achievements of Qu Yuan's Li Sao

Speaking of Li Sao, it is natural to talk about Qu Yuan first.

Qu Yuan is a great patriotic poet in the history of China, the founder of China's romantic literature, and the founder and representative writer of Songs of the South. He initiated the tradition of "vanilla beauty" and was known as the "ancestor of Songs of the South". ? Qu Yuan's major works include Li Sao, Nine Songs, Nine Chapters and Tian Wen. Songs of the South is one of the sources of China's romantic literature, and Lisao is the most famous one in the Songs of the South. Lisao in The Songs of the South and Guofeng in The Book of Songs are also called coquettish, and they are a bright pearl in the history of China literature.

Li Sao has 373 sentences and 2489 words. Later generations have different interpretations of Li Sao, which was widely circulated by Wang Yi in the Eastern Han Dynasty: Li Sao, Li Sao; Sao, sorrow.

The achievement of Li Sao is first manifested in its spiritual value:

The ideal of "American politics" and profound patriotic feelings are vividly reflected in Li Sao. In addition, the pursuit of ideals, the great character of dying without regret and the critical spirit of hating evil are also its themes.

Speaking of the artistic achievements of Li Sao, that is, its literary achievements, the following aspects are very prominent.

1, strong passion and fantastic imagination.

The social content and imagination expressed in Li Sao come partly from real life and largely from Qu Yuan's personal imagination.

2. The image of the lyric hero is pure and beautiful, independent and unyielding.

Li Sao is a lyric poem describing Qu Yuan's life. His noble birth, lofty ideals, sober and pure personality, independence and unyielding, and unusually strong sincere feelings constitute the perfect image of the lyric hero.

Having so many beautiful qualities highlights the poet's noble image beyond the secular. However, this is only a description of his qualifications. The glorious personality of the lyric hero is more reflected in his unyielding pursuit of ideals.

3. The expansion of Bixing technique

The main features of China's ancient poems in artistic conception and expression are "touching things to express feelings" and "seeking things to express feelings", which is to express feelings through things in a nutshell. This technique and its characteristics have been discovered by predecessors when studying the Book of Songs, and summarized as "Bixing" technique. Qu Yuan played an important role in the development of Bixing techniques. Bixing in Qu Yuan's works is no longer simply comparing something with something, or touching something to get excited, but more about combining some characteristics of things with people's thoughts, feelings, personality and ideals, so that things have symbolic significance and feelings have more specific attachment and sustenance.

Structurally, I asked about the layout of the article around the center. The former is real and the latter is imaginary. That is, the artistic realm is close to Ceng Xin, and my thoughts and feelings are full of enthusiasm.

5. Formally, the situation is long, parallel prose exists side by side, the language is rich, disyllabic rhymes are widely used, and dialects are absorbed.

6. Lisao is the longest poem in ancient China.

Li Sao is Qu Yuan's masterpiece, a magnificent political lyric poem with high artistic attainments and unique style. Therefore, Qu Yuan is great, and Li Sao is the most magnificent flower in the history of China literature.
