Rhododendron Rhododendron is a plant belonging to the genus Bougainvillea. Flowers are rose, purple and pink, and most of them are red. Rhododendron azalea has high ornamental value. It blooms in winter and spring in southern China and from March to July in greenhouses in northern China.
Planting method of rhododendron
Rhododendron Rhododendron has low requirements on soil, good growth, barren resistance, alkali resistance and drought resistance, and avoids water accumulation in clay with good drainage and rich minerals. Slightly acidic soil is most favorable for the growth of rhododendron.
Water once a day in spring and autumn, once in the morning and evening in summer, once in the morning and evening after the emergence of watering buds in winter, and spray water on the leaves 1-2 times at the same time. In the rainy season, water should be prevented to prevent plants from rotting and dying.
The optimum growth temperature is 15-30℃, and measures such as shading, spraying water and ventilation should be taken in summer, and the ambient temperature should be kept not lower than 5℃ in winter.
In addition to applying sufficient base fertilizer in the basin soil, topdressing should also be carried out in the growing season. Add a small amount of potassium dihydrogen phosphate and spray 0. 1%-0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution on the leaves. During the full flowering period, 1 times alum fertilizer is poured every week, and 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate is sprayed on the leaves.
