Among the four outstanding figures in the early Tang Dynasty, what was Wang Bo's literary level?

Most people list Wang Bota as the first of the four outstanding figures in the early Tang Dynasty, because Wang Bota has more achievements in literature than the other three outstanding figures. Like most writers in history, Wang Bo was very clever in his early years. He could write a complete poem at the age of six, and even the poems he wrote at the age of six were very clever.

Later, when Wang Bo 16 years old, he became an official before becoming a champion. However, after he became an official, although he was liked by the nobles, he ended up with nothing because he wrote an article about the chicken of the king of England. Wang Bo's A Chicken Written by the King of England finally fell into the hands of Tang Gaozong, which aroused Tang Gaozong's dislike for him. Therefore, Tang Gaozong thinks that Wang Bo, as a doctor, wrote an article instead of exhorting two kings to beat chickens, which is completely exaggerated. He also believes that Wang Bo tried to sow discord, so Wang Bo was expelled from the capital.

Later, Wang Bo was convicted of murder on the job and even sentenced to death. But fortunately, there was an amnesty in the world at that time, and Wang Bo did not die. However, in the Book of Old Tang Dynasty, it is believed that this is because people with festivals set up Wang Bo for him, which led to Wang Bo's murder. Wang Bo's murder also implicated his father, who was demoted to toe. One year after Wang Bo was released from prison, although the court resumed Wang Bo's office, Wang Bo was very afraid of officialdom because of previous events. So he went south from Luoyang along the canal last autumn. In the spring and summer of the following year, he went to visit his father, who was embarrassed, and then set foot on his way home again, but Wang Bo drowned on his way home.

Wang Bo's achievements in poetry and prose are very high, and his thoughts combine the cultural factors of hundred schools of thought, such as Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, while Wang Bo's poems inherit the spirit of Confucianism in Zhenguan period, but at the same time have a magnificent and clear new era atmosphere. To some extent, the Fu of the Tang Dynasty also represents the prosperity of the Fu of the early Tang Dynasty.
