Material Composition: Beauty and Poet

Many famous poets are related to beautiful women; And many beautiful women, in turn, make the poet famous.

When I was in middle school, I once read Cui Hu's poem entitled "South Village of Beijing": "On this day last year, people's faces and peaches set each other off in this door. People don't know where to go, and peach blossoms are still smiling in the spring breeze. "

Cui Hu, a native of Boling, now lives in Dingxian County, Hebei Province. Tang Dezong was a scholar in the 12th year of Zhenyuan (796 BC). This year in Tomb-Sweeping Day, Cui Hu, who came to Beijing for an exam, went for an outing in the suburbs. When he went to Nanzhuang, he saw a girl standing beside a peach tree in a yard. Although she wears light makeup, her face is red and bright as peach blossom. Cui Hu was immediately moved by the girl's beauty, so she went forward to ask the girl for water to drink. The girl saw that Cui Hu was a young, intelligent and polite scholar, and she also liked him. But Cui Hu finally left Nanzhuang step by step because of his fame, so let's not talk about his children's affair. This autumn exam, he wanted to be the number one scholar, and he finished his tedious entertainment. It was in the spring of March of the following year that he hurried to Nanzhuang and wandered around the yard for almost a whole day without waiting for the girl he wanted to see. Peach blossoms remain the same, and personnel have changed. Cui Hu wrote this poem when he was disappointed.

Of the six poems left by Cui Hu, this one is the most famous, and the rest are almost unknown to the world. It can be said that without this poem, there would probably be no Cui Hu in the history of literature. Without that beautiful girl, there wouldn't be a wonderful flower in Tang poetry. In modern poetry circles in China, there are also many poems about beautiful women or poems written by beautiful women. For example, Bian said, "You stood on the bridge and watched the scenery/the people watching the scenery watched you upstairs/the bright moon decorated your window/you decorated other people's dreams". There are countless such stories in the history of foreign literature. The famous Imagist poet Pound's famous "In a Subway Station": "These faces are ghostly in the crowd; There are many petals on the wet black branches. " I wrote it because I saw a group of beautiful women. This poem is regarded as the most famous masterpiece of Imagism, and Pound became the founder of Imagism. Through the poet's memories, we can find that the shock of these beautiful women in the poet's heart actually troubled the poet for a year until the poet wrote a satisfactory work.

Without this "love affair", Pound would have lost this poem. Therefore, in a sense, beauty makes a poet.

A philosopher once said that a poet's vision is the most critical and acute, and he can often find beauty in ordinary life. Cui Hu and Pound did just that. If the poet Cui Hu hadn't seen the girl standing by the peach tree; If the poet Pound didn't stand in the subway station and see the beautiful women, the girl and the beautiful women wouldn't jump on the paper to embellish the history of literature. Beauty inspired poets, who wrote wonderful poems, and readers felt beauty from the poems, which revived the image of beauty. This is exactly what a poet said: friend, my poem is full of life because of you; You will live in my poems forever.
