The Athena in God of War 3 is not the real Athena. It was predicted in Greek mythology that Athena would overthrow Zeus, but it was not overthrown later. In the final ending of God of War 3, that "Athena" is right Critos said that everything was caused by him opening Pandora's Box. The gods she mentioned earlier were affected by the greed, killing, fear, pain, disease, and desire in Pandora's Box to the point of murdering him.
What she said next is a scam. This is what she said, "I injected this great power into the box to prevent the forbidden power after the box is opened. That is hope." If it is really Athens As for Na, she would not watch her relatives being killed and Olympus destroyed. If she really wanted to overthrow Zeus, she would not die to protect Zeus from a sword.

It is the fifth installment in the "God of War" series, the seventh in chronological order, and the sequel to 2007's "God of War II."

Kratos reignited the war and ascended Mount Olympus until he was abandoned by the titan Gaia. Under the spiritual guidance of Athena, Kratos joins forces with monsters, gods, and Titans to find Pandora, without whom it would be impossible to open Pandora's Box, defeat Zeus, and end the reign of the Olympian gods.
It sold nearly 5.2 million copies worldwide by June 2012 and was included in the PS3 "God of War: Legend" released on August 28, 2012.
