Wang Anshi’s poetry style

Thin and strong is the consistent style of Wang Anshi's poetry. However, in his early years, he was strange, dangerous and strong, but in his later years, he turned the strange into the ordinary, that is, he combined tragedy and leisure. For example, "Climbing Feilai Peak" reflects the poet's far-sightedness and fearlessness by writing about climbing a mountain tower and overlooking the distance. Although it involves discussion, it is written with emotion and rhyme, making it a poetic and meaningful work. In his later years, he created many short poems describing natural landscapes, which are novel, unique and elegant, such as "Mooring a Boat with Melon Boats", which uses a light and graceful pen to describe distant thoughts, with exquisite language and strict laws. Most of his poems are written without humane language, forming a "deep and unhurried" style, which is completely different from the "straight to the heart" style of his early poems.
