Li Bai's "Gift to He Qi Judge Chang Hao" Original Reading

Sometimes I feel melancholy and sit there until midnight.

In the clear sky, the sky is roaring, and I want to understand the chaos of the world.

My heart goes with the wind, blowing away thousands of miles of clouds.

I am ashamed to be a student in Jinan, and I recite ancient prose at ninety.

Otherwise, with the flick of the sword, the desert will collect extraordinary achievements.

Why should we spread the fragrance among old people and dead people?

Master, now you are playing pipes and music, and your talents are the best among the three armies.

If we end up with the same origin, how can we be depressed and drowned in the group?

I remember a contemporary poetry theorist said something so vivid and alert: In poetic works, the idea of ??beauty is like the Beidou pointing the direction in the night sky, the soothing moonlight, and the exciting moonlight at dawn. Morning glow and radiant sunrise. Poetry without beautiful thoughts is like the sky without the Big Dipper and the moon, without the glow and the sun, and there is only darkness or darkness between the sky and the earth. So, what are beautiful thoughts? I think it should have at least two characteristics: one is active and healthy, and the other is broad and profound. Of course, it is difficult to achieve great poetry without the former. No matter how decorated the decadent and decadent thoughts are, they will eventually be eliminated by history; without the latter, it is also difficult to write works that are handed down from generation to generation. No matter how healthy the slogan-like thoughts are, they will be eliminated by history. Qianlu was expelled from the paradise of poetry. Li Bai's political lyric poem has been accepted and recognized by generations of readers precisely because of his beautiful thoughts.

In order to better understand this work, let us first analyze it. From a structural point of view, this poem can be divided into three paragraphs.

The first four sentences are the first paragraph, describing the poet's melancholy and its reasons. The first three sentences describe the melancholy so intense, intense, deep and wide that the poet could not sleep all night, and finally had to vent it with a long roar. Why is the poet, who has always been bold and optimistic, so depressed and melancholy now? The fourth sentence points out the reason: "Thinking wants to solve the world's troubles." "Jieshishidi" uses an allusion from Lu Zhonglian, a great figure in the Warring States period. According to "Warring States Policy·Zhao Ce", Lu Zhonglian was originally from Qin. Hearing that Qin soldiers were besieging Zhao, King Zhao was ready to accept Xin Yuanyan's idea and make Qin withdraw its troops on the condition of respecting Qin as emperor. He took the initiative to see Lord Pingyuan of Zhao State and reproached him: "I heard that you are the son of Qixian, but now it seems that you are not worthy of your reputation. Call Xinyuan Yan, and I will persuade him to give up Emperor Qin's evil thoughts and let him Leave the State of Zhao." Later, he used his eloquence and repeatedly stated the harm of Emperor Qin, which made Xin Yuanyan speechless and said that he never dared to talk about Emperor Qin's affairs again. Lord Pingyuan wanted to thank him, but he refused and said: "The most valuable people in the world are those who help people eliminate troubles, solve problems, and solve chaos, but they have nothing to gain. If it is for revenge, it is really the businessman's doing." So he walked away, I will never see Mr. Pingyuan again for the rest of my life. Lu Zhonglian became a typical personality in later generations who solved people's problems and retired after success. Li Bai admired him very much and repeatedly expressed his feelings in his poems: "Qi has a suave life, Lu Lian is a master. ... I am also a wanderer, brushing my clothes." "It can be the same tune" ("Ancient Style", Part 10), "The hoped-for Jingtou will be destroyed, and the success will be pursued after Lulian" ("The banquet of the navy in the navy is presented to the shogunate attendants"). By understanding the spiritual essence of "resolving the world's troubles", we also understand the profound practical significance of the poet's "melancholy": in order to relieve the deep suffering caused by the Anshi Rebellion to the country and the people. This is the main purpose of the whole poem and the solid foundation on which the idea of ??beauty is based.

The eight sentences in the middle are the second paragraph, which specifically explains the "melancholy" and "desire to resolve the world's troubles" in the first paragraph, using the artistic technique of cross-contrast. The two sentences "Xin Sui" follow the previous sentence as a positive description, highlighting the grandeur of ideals and ambitions, while the two sentences "Shame on" are negative contrasts. Faced with the cruel reality of "blood smearing the weeds and wolves covering their crowns", even in his sixtieth year, the poet was unwilling to be like Fu Sheng in the early Han Dynasty, who set the goal of mastering the poor scriptures as his life goal. In a feudal society where many scholar-bureaucrats regarded the study of classics as the most sacred undertaking, Li Bai's spirit of caring about reality and being happy with practice was very rare. The two sentences "otherwise" are still written in a positive way, using the method of retreat to advance. If you can't "hatch the clouds and sail across the sea" and realize your political ideal of helping the common people, then you should draw your sword and make contributions to the country at the critical moment of national peril. Here, the Confucian thought of actively engaging with the world and the bold and artistic knight consciousness are wonderfully combined. The two sentences "die of old age" are a negative contrast. It is believed that a real man should not die of old age and be careless, but should do a vigorous career to become famous throughout the world. Obviously, this cause is the "resolving the world's conflicts" mentioned above.

The last four sentences are the third paragraph, which not only relates to the title, expresses the intention of giving to others, but also uses others to express oneself, and once again expresses one's political ideals: We must serve the country like Guan Zhong and Le Yi. Do a vigorous cause for the people, and never be a hermit escaping from reality like Chang Ju and Jie Drong.

We can summarize the beautiful thoughts expressed in this poem. Its beauty lies in: From beginning to end, the poem is permeated with the spirit of realism that cares about reality and worries about the world, the spirit of heroism that desires to make achievements and display talents, and the spirit of optimism that actively uses the world and forges ahead. Considering that this poem was written a year before the poet's death, the poet had gone through many vicissitudes of life, was frail and sick, and had just suffered a heavy political blow and narrowly escaped death; considering that the poet was entangled in the contradictions between use of the world and retirement, progress and enjoyment throughout his life, many works Taken together, the ideological brilliance of this poem becomes more and more obvious.

It is also beautiful because it describes the depth of the soul, the real struggle between the two psychological forces of advancement and retreat, and the victory of the aggressive side, the richness and complexity of the characters, and the flesh-and-blood story. The poet himself.

Belinsky said: "No matter how vigorous the creative power is, if it only limits itself to the 'singing of the birds', it will only create its own reality that is in line with contemporary history and the ideological world. A world with no similarities, if it considers that the earth is not worthy of its exertion, that its domain is in the clouds, and that the pain and hope of the world should not disturb its mysterious foresight and poetic meditation, ——This kind of creativity can only be shown off for a while. No matter how huge it is, the works produced by it can never be extended into life, nor can it arouse warm excitement and excitement in the hearts of modern or future generations. "Li Bai's work is a strong argument for this conclusion; the reason why Li Bai became Li Bai is also a strong argument for this assertion.
