Sanmao, formerly known as Chen Ping, is a Taiwan Province writer, 1943, from Sichuan. Her ancestral home is Zhoushan Islands, Zhejiang Province, and she was born in a lawyer's family. Now she's dead. She loved literature since childhood, and read many famous works at home and abroad in her youth, which laid the foundation for her literary creation. He is the author of Crying Camel, Notes of Scarecrow, How Many Flowers Fall in Dreams, My Baby, Beautiful City, Story of Sahara, Give you a horse, The rainy season is no longer coming, Random Thoughts, Heart to Heart, Tender Night, Noisy Learning and Story of Sahara.

Sanmao worked as an auditor in the Philosophy Department of Taiwan Province Provincial University. After graduation, she went to Delhi University to study literature. Two years later, he transferred to Goethe Institute in West Germany, then went to the University of Illinois in Chicago to major in ceramics, and returned to Taiwan Province Province the following year.
