Picture book activity "Where is it hidden?"
Teacher Sheng Beibei of Huai 'an Experimental Primary School Kindergarten: Hello everyone! Today, I will show you a picture book activity in a small class. "Where is it hidden?" . I chose this story because hide-and-seek is one of the most familiar and favorite games for small class children. The story is "Where are you hiding?" It is a game based on "hide-and-seek", which attracts children's attention and sticks to their heartstrings. So there is such a picture book activity. During the activity, the children got a deeper understanding of the animal's appearance characteristics in the situation of helping the little fox find friends, and naturally used relevant knowledge and experience to experience the pleasure of reading. So I set the goal of this activity from the perspectives of cognition, skills and emotion: 1. Observe the pictures carefully, find the animals, understand the obvious appearance characteristics of the characters, and perceive the relationship between the whole and the part. 2. Tell the hiding place of animal friends boldly and clearly. 3. Experience the joy of success in finding animals and companions. The focus of the activity is to be able to infer the hiding position of an animal according to its local characteristics. The difficulty lies in the shallow knowledge of animal self-protection Around this key and difficult point, I used open-ended questions in many places in the activity to improve children's interest in participating in the activity. At the same time, in order to break the unchangeable way of presentation and telling, after carefully telling the first paragraph, I also showed the pictures of the second, third and fourth paragraphs for children to tell freely, while the fifth paragraph made children remember "which role has not been found yet" before telling, which challenged children's memory and reading ability and made the teaching process more compact. Children also have an experience process of "observation-seeking-success". The ability of animals to protect themselves is difficult for children in small classes, so I didn't end the story in the fifth episode, but asked, "Why is the deer's horn exposed, but the fox can't find it?" Let the children think. In this activity, I mainly used three teaching methods: courseware demonstration method, exchange discussion method and game method. In the activities, children will use observation, discussion and conversation, game practice and other learning methods. Self-evaluation: In this activity, I pay attention to highlight two value points: 1 Multi-thinking based on picture books. In this picture book story, children can not only learn the language, but also be sensible. For example, in the picture on the first page, animals are dividing their work with "rocks, scissors and cloth", which vividly shows children a way of "solving problems", and Fox's "obedience" rule sets a good example for children. 2. Children's participation. In the activity, I pay attention to children's observation of the picture content, and find the local characteristics of animals in the effective interaction between teachers and students, thus improving children's observation and analysis ability. At the same time, I also pay attention to children's language expression, and encourage children to express their ideas boldly through encouragement, guidance and demonstration. During the activity, the children were guided to observe and found that the small animals were dividing this part by "rock, paper, scissors", and it was too impatient to deal with it by asking questions step by step. If children start with their own life experiences, it will be better to talk about "what will they do if they encounter this problem". The above is my understanding, analysis and practice of this teaching activity. If there is anything wrong, please criticize and correct me. Thank you for your guidance!
