A probe into the origin of Wushilin surname in Wushi Tianhou Palace

Urumqi is now the old city of Zhangpu County, such as Wujiang Village, Houlong Village, Wanshang Village, Shandou Village and Tanzaitou Village, all of which are surnamed Lin. Lin An, the ancestor of wushi village Lin family, grew up in Hou Jing Village, Changle, Fuzhou, and moved from Fuzhou to Wujiang Village in Zhangpu in the Southern Song Dynasty (about 126 1 year). In order to commemorate Wushishan, whose ancestral home is Fuzhou, it was named Wushi, and the name of Wushi was born in Zhangpu from now on, and it is still used by the people today. Wushi people used to call Mazu the ancestor of aunt. Mazu is the "patron saint" of people's beliefs on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. People on both sides of the Taiwan Strait have built temples dedicated to Mazu everywhere, and Wushi Tianhou Palace is one of them. Compared with other temples dedicated to Mazu, the significance of Wushi Tianhou Temple is extraordinary.

Because the statue of Mazu enshrined in Wu's Tianhou Palace was invited back from Mazu Tempel, Meizhou Bay, Putian during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. It has a history of more than 1000 years, and is known as the "golden body of Mazu for thousands of years". It is the oldest statue of Mazu in the world.
