Yang Xuejun’s personal profile

Joined the workforce in January 1976. In 1977, while serving in the army, he began to engage in amateur literary creation and publish works. He won the second prize for Jinan Military Region Literary Creation and the first prize for the Shandong Province Literary Performance. Since 1981, he has been engaged in journalism work at the Sihong County Radio Station (station and bureau). His works have won the provincial first prize 3 times and the second prize 12 times. In 1991, he was transferred to the administrative agency and served successively as secretary, section chief, deputy director of the County Party Committee Office, deputy director of the Suqian Municipal Restructuring Office, and deputy director of the Suqian Municipal Government Office. In 2011, he served as director of the Party History Office of Suqian Municipal Committee (Municipal Government History Office) and editor-in-chief of "Suqian Yearbook" and "Suqian City Chronicle". He is currently the director of the Study, Culture and History Committee of the CPPCC. He began writing poetry in 2006 and has published more than 1,000 poetry exercises. Various works are scattered in "People's Daily", "People's Liberation Army Daily", "Guangming Daily", "People's Liberation Army Literature and Art", "Pioneer", "Poetry", "Ci", "Chinese Rhythm Journal", "News University" ", "Chinese Poetry", "Yangtze River Poetry" and other newspapers and periodicals, and has been selected for more than 20 officially published books. He is the author of a collection of poems, "Collection of Three Years Old" (Jiangsu Literature and Art Publishing House), and the editor-in-chief of books such as "New Road to Suqian" (Jiangsu People's Publishing House), "Suqian Aid Construction Chronicle" (Jiangsu People's Publishing House) and other books. He is a member of Jiangsu Provincial Writers Association and vice chairman of Suqian Poetry Association.
