An analysis of the answer to Shen Shi's advocating "modality theory" in his poems. "Style" has two levels. This is in the same strain as Neo-Confucianism advocated by the Qing court, so the "tune theory" has obvious color of maintaining feudal rule. Second, poetry creation emphasizes meaning, praises Tang poetry, favors seven schools, and pays special attention to the beauty of poetry rhyme.
