Ancient poems praising Jingchu culture

Among the poets of past dynasties, Li Bai left more poems about Wuhan in the Tang Dynasty, which may be related to his long-term living in Hubei. He once lived in Anlu, Hubei for ten years. He wrote many poems related to Wuhan. Among them, Meng Haoran on the way to Yangzhou by the Yellow Crane Tower is the most famous.

In the poem "Listening to Xiao on the Yellow Crane Tower with Shilang Zhong Qin", Li Bai first called Wuhan Jiangcheng. The earliest poem was called Jiangcheng in Wuhan.

Besides Li Bai, the Yellow Crane Tower in Cui Hao is also familiar, which is the poem that best reflects the scenery of Wuhan. This poem has become a treasure that has been praised through the ages. Legend has it that Li Bai boarded this building and witnessed this poem, which impressed him deeply. He said: "There is a scene in front of me, with Cui Hao's poems on it."

Xiangyang

Xiangyang, a famous historical and cultural city in China, is also the birthplace of Chu culture, Han culture and Three Kingdoms culture. Many literati were born in Xiangyang in history, and Meng Haoran was a brilliant poetic star created by the flourishing Tang Dynasty and Xiangyang landscape culture.

Meng Haoran was called Meng Xiangyang by later generations. When it comes to Xiangyang, people know that there is a Meng Haoran here. When Meng Haoran is mentioned, people will immediately think of Xiangyang. He did not hesitate to praise his hometown Xiangyang. In his eyes, Xiangyang is even more beautiful than Huiji.

Yichang

The rolling Yangtze River has created such natural beauty as the Three Gorges. The battles between Qu Yuan, Zhao Jun, Yiling and Shipai recorded the profoundness of Yichang civilization. In these beautiful and outstanding places, the literati in history also left many famous articles.

Bai Di City is a poem written by Li Bai, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, when he returned from exile. Poetically describes the Yangtze River from Bai Di to Jiangling, where the water is fast and ships are flying.

Yang Jiong and Lu, among the four outstanding figures in the early Tang Dynasty, also described the beautiful scenery of the Three Gorges in Yichang successively.

Jingzhou

Jingzhou has a long history and splendid culture. This city with a history of more than 2,600 years is the birthplace of Chu culture and the center of Three Kingdoms culture, creating Chu culture comparable to that of ancient Greece and Athens.

Song of Jingzhou was written by Li Bai when he left Sichuan and passed Jingzhou (now Jiangling, Hubei). This poem is about a sad scene in which a rural woman misses her distant husband when she is working hard.

Except Li Bai, Lu You and Du Fu both described the scenery of Jingzhou with the title of "Song of Jingzhou".

Huanggang

Huanggang has a long history and culture with a history of more than 2,000 years. It gave birth to four ancestors of China-Daoxin, Hongren and Huineng, and Bi Sheng, the inventor of movable type printing in Song Dynasty.

When it comes to poems related to Huanggang, Su Shi is the most famous. The word Niannujiao Red Cliff Nostalgia was written by Su Shi when he lived in Huangzhou in 1082. At that time, the author was 47 years old and was demoted to Huangzhou for more than two years because of Wutai poetry case. After Su Shi was demoted, he was beyond words and traveled around for fun. I happened to come to Chibi (Biji) outside Huangzhou City, where the magnificent scenery touched the author very much, so I wrote this word.

Su Shi lived in Huangzhou relegated house for more than four years. In this work, the author uses the image of lonely moonlight to express his loneliness.
