Why was Zhuge Liang’s Bagua array cracked by Lu Xun?

Li Bai has a poem that says: "Chifu brought down fortune, Wolong got Kongming". Among them, the use of "Wolong" and "Kongming" means that Liu Bei got "Kongming" on Wollongong. Wolong's assistance was able to reverse the decline of the Han Dynasty. ?Kong Ming was Zhuge Liang, named Kong Ming and nicknamed Wolong (also known as Fulong). He was the prime minister of the Shu Han Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period. At the same time, he was also an outstanding statesman, military strategist, essayist, and calligrapher in history. He was born in an official family in Yangdu, Langya in 181 AD. His mother died of illness when he was three years old, his father died when he was eight years old, and he lived with his uncle. Later, when his uncle died of illness, he moved to Wollongong, Nanyang, Henan, or Longzhong, Xiangyang, Hubei, to live in seclusion and make a living by farming. As for where Zhuge Kongming lived in seclusion, there is no conclusion yet. Regarding the historical disputes about Kongming’s former residence, why not be like the couplet written by Gu Jiaheng in the Qing Dynasty? The merit lies in the imperial court, and there is no distinction between the first and the last master; the name is high in the world, why should we distinguish Xiangyang and Nanyang? Let them coexist and leave a name for eternity.

The story of Zhuge Kongming who dedicated his whole life and died after his death has been passed down to this day. He is a well-deserved figure who is admirable for his wisdom and personality. It is not difficult to understand why Li Bai, who could not get on the ship when called by the emperor and claimed to be the Immortal of Wine, would give such high praise to Zhuge Kongming.

Zhuge Liang left his name in history as a military strategist because of the strategic plan he proposed in "Longzhong Dui"; he also occupies a place in the history of literature because of his brilliant and deeply emotional words in "Shishi Biao". But his outstanding performance and achievements in literature and military affairs cannot cover up his extraordinary wisdom in invention and creation. Due to his status as a military strategist, most of the items he invented were used for military purposes, such as the wooden ox and the flowing horse, the Kongming lantern, and the repeated crossbow that he modified. However, apart from the invented items, he also had extremely high abilities in army dispatching and platooning. Achievements. Therefore, he was able to invent the Nine-Gong Bagua Array, relying on the Bagua Diagram to skillfully combine the most mysterious Yi Xue in Chinese culture with military warfare, and use the Bagua Array like flying in the battle against the enemy.

In using this method to make the enemy overwhelmed and defeated, Zhuge Liang can be regarded as unprecedented and rarely followed. Du Fu, who is known as the poet sage, once wrote about Zhuge Liang's "Eight Formations" with the title "Bagua Formation". The stone in the river will not turn, and the regret will be swallowed up by Wu.

Zhuge Liang, also known as Mr. Wolong, was the prime minister of the Shu Han Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. When Liu Bei was staying in Jingzhou, he invited Zhuge Liang out with the courtesy of three visits. With Zhuge Liang's assistance, Liu Bei went from a wandering general with no foothold to the founder of the Shu Han Dynasty in only more than ten years. Later, Liu Bei ignored Zhuge Liang's persuasion and insisted on launching a war against Wu in order to avenge his brother Guan Yu. In the end, he was defeated by Lu Xun, a scholar from Soochow, with a fire in Yiling. If the formation diagram blocks Lu Xun's pursuit, Liu Bei may have to go to see Guan Yu and Zhang Fei early.

Lu Xun, courtesy name Boyan, was the last of the four governors of Soochow during the Three Kingdoms period at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Although he was young, he was appointed at the critical moment. When Liu Bei's army came to attack, Sun Quanquan overcame all objections and appointed Lu Xun. This weak scholar was the governor of the entire army. Lu Xun lived up to Sun Quan's high expectations and successfully blocked Liu Bei's menacing army at Yiling. He also saw the opportunity and established his position among the four governors of Soochow with a fire. After the fire in Yiling, Lu Xun led his army to chase the defeated Liu Bei and accidentally entered the Eight Formations. If not for the kindness of Zhuge Liang's father-in-law Huang Chengyan, Lu Xun might have been trapped and died in the Eight Formations.

The Eight Formations is an ancient art of war. As early as the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang created a more sophisticated Eight Formation diagram by studying the Eight Formations. It can be said that Zhuge Liang was the only person who understood the eight formations during the Three Kingdoms period. Although Lu Xun was also very capable in military affairs, there is no record that he understood the ancient formations. It can also be seen from the eight trapped formations that Lu Xun is not good at this. Before Lu Xun entered the formation, he had already discovered that the formation contained hidden secrets and was full of murderous intent. But because Lu Xun discovered that this formation was just piles of rocks seemingly placed randomly, he didn't take it seriously and entered the formation lightly.
