Brief introduction of Jiefang Pavilion

Introduction:

Jiefang Pavilion is a famous scenic spot in Jinan, located in the southeast corner of the former old city wall of Jinan, on the east side of Black Tiger Spring, facing Black Tiger Spring across the moat. The museum is located at 1948 on September 24th, the battle of Jinan, which was the breakthrough of China People's Liberation Army when it conquered Jinan.

In order to commemorate the liberation of Jinan, the people of Jinan specially built the magnificent Jiefang Pavilion here. Jiefang Pavilion was completed on September 24th. 1986. Jiefangge is a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit in Shandong Province, and it is also one of the patriotic education bases in Jinan.

Hall:

The first floor is the memorial hall, the outer wall is granite and the inner wall is hardwood. The color of the hall is based on red, with crimson granite as the ground. On the second floor, there is a viewing hall with light yellow as the ground, with yellow marble as the ground and waist-high stone walls around it. The upper part is a national lantern window with a large area of glass.

The whole architectural modeling is made up of a triangle, which embodies the eternity, stability, grandeur and solemnity of the memorial building. The roof adopts yellow glazed tile roof, with three cornices and delicate uneven wing angles. The whole building and pedestal are well proportioned, tall and handsome, which is one of the typical examples of the combination of modern architectural technology and traditional architectural forms in Jinan.

The pavilion was inscribed by Marshal Chen Yi, the former commander of the East China Field Army, in 1965. The stone carvings and plaques of Jiefang Pavilion are embedded in the west and south sides of Taiji and on the second floor of Gaoxuan Pavilion.

The Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs in the Liberation of Jinan Campaign, engraved with the names of 3,764 martyrs in Jinan Campaign, was posted on the east side of the stylized pedestal and written in regular script by Jinan calligrapher Zhu Xueda.

Ji 'nan Liberation Memorial Hall will implement free ticket management measures. The opening hours are 8:00- 18:00 every day in spring and summer and 9:00- 17:00 every day in autumn and winter, which can fully meet the needs of citizens and tourists. Groups such as primary and secondary school students should make an appointment to visit.
