Cursive writing materials

The cursive writing material is raw rice paper.

Shengxuan is a kind of rice paper with strong water absorption. When writing with light ink, ink is easy to penetrate and melt, while writing with thick ink is relatively easy. Therefore, when creating calligraphy and painting, we should master the shade of pen and ink. Ink is a liquid containing pigments or dyes. Ink is used for writing or painting. The earliest inks were dyes made of metal, walnut shells or seeds, or inks made of aquatic animals such as fish and octopus.

Cursive writing skills

1. exposure and collection: cursive scripts are generally exposed, but remember that they are illusory and slippery. Exposure and closure can connect strokes, and strokes should echo and be close.

2, there is a curve in the straight: cursive script should pay attention to the curve changes, ups and downs at will, so that the straight line has a curve, but avoid blindly winding the oil, and the strokes should be strong.

3. Changes in light and heavy: the cursive strokes should be slightly changed, but blindly focusing on them will lead to stagnation and listlessness, while blindly focusing on them will lead to vanity and lightness, but the light and heavy strokes must be moderate, otherwise it will only increase evil.

4. Pay equal attention to Fiona Fang: Fang Xianfang, round and agile. Too many squares will produce rigidity, and when they pass the circle, they will appear oily.

5. Stroke substitution: cursive script is a symbolic calligraphy (that is, freehand brushwork in painting). A symbol can replace a word or radical (even a few words) to achieve a simple effect and receive an abstract artistic effect.

6. Use the middle edge together: generally use the edge when starting the pen, and occasionally use the edge when closing the pen. In calligraphy, centering is often used to ensure the structure of words, thus enhancing the effect of works.
